Hands down the best AC company in the metroplex. James is always so friendly and professional. I have been using them for years and you can always count on them for an honest assessment of your issue as well as a fair price. Have referred many friends to them as well.

Terrell Air Conditioning Service are great. They put in both of our units four or five years ago and have met all of our air conditioning needs for probably around 10 years. They're fabulous. The units they put in are holding up great. It's a small company and I like them because of that. They come quickly if something's wrong. They're very honest. I would trust them with anything. They're really great. They came out on the Fourth of July, when we came home from a funeral and the air conditioning was out. They didn't charge extra for coming out on a holiday or anything. They just came out and fixed it. They're pretty special. We will have the owner and not the workers come, usually. We priced out the units when we were getting them put in, and Terrell was at least $1,000 less than other companies.

The compressor went out on an evening when the temperature had gotten up to 109 during the day. Terrell A/C service installed the HVA/C unit inside and out several years ago, and I had used them in the past for other service. I called early the following morning and left a message. James called me back right at 8:00 and said that they could definitely be out today. He either had a really good memory or had looked up records before he called me back (most likely the second option) and knew that they had installed the system. He told me that he was working on the day's schedule so he wasn't quite sure what time and I said that was OK since I was glad that they were able to work me in at all. I told him that it would be best if someone called me somewhere between 30 min and an hour before they could be here so one of us would be able to meet them. I got a call a few minutes before noon and when I told the technician that it would be a little more than 30 minutes before I could get there he said that was OK - he'd take a break and go eat lunch. I said I'd call and let him know about what time to expect someone and he was here soon after that call. He inspected the inside unit first to make sure it was working properly then went outside to work on the compressor. From my description of what had happened the previous evening he said that it was likely that the capacitor had gone out, so he got a new one from his truck to have it there in case that was what was wrong. He pulled off the old one and attached the new one and the compressor started right up. While waiting for the unit to run long enough to get good readings he explained the reasons for replacing the filter on a timely basis and also a few other basic maintenance things that we can do to help keep it running well. Because I am an established customer (and because he wasn't sure if the part was covered under a 10 year warranty) he said that the invoice for the visit would be mailed to me. Said that if the part was covered I would be billed for a $75.00 service call and if it wasn't then the price for the part is about $100. I was very pleased (again) with the service and will call them again if I need anything done. Will probably talk to James about setting up a regular maintenance contract.

We have used them for years. They put two new systems for us and come and check them as well. They have been in business for a while and a lot of my friends have also used them. When we had them replace the system they gave us a good deal. It was $2000 less than the other quotes we got for the same system.
