I was gone on vacation and needed just a one-time lawn mowing and trimming. He agreed to do it, did a great job, and even did the work first, and then billed me in the mail. Impressive.

A+ to Infinity! Mr. Stephens went above and beyond! I am a disabled-widow so it would be easy to take advantage of this situation and do a overpriced, shoddy job. As my last SIX lawn services did. But not this gentleman! Mike Stephens listened to me respectfully as I gave detailed instructions of how I wanted my yard handled. And I have a tendency to go off subject frequently. Memory Lane calls to me often. Not once did Mr. Stephens redirect the conversation back to the job but, listened patiently until I remembered the original subject myself. When Spring rains came so frequently there was only a day or two between downpours and he was playing catchup with his many customers; worried that he wouldn't be able to get to me in time he called a friend of his who is a fireman and owns a lawn company also. Executive Landscape Services. Who did an outstanding job! I find it hard to find the words to describe how AWESOME Mike Stephens is! He not only found a replacement, ( when he didn't have to), he went into detail with his friend about me and my needs the night before he contacted me. He wanted to be sure that I was treated fairly, respectfully, and honestly. AND he called the next day to see if I was happy with the work the other company did! I told him what a fabulous job Executive had done. And what a joy it was to at last have a company respect my wishes the way Executive had. I sincerely believe The Good Lord directed Mike Stephens into my life. I would happily recommend Stephens Lawn Service to my family and friends without a moments hesitation. All others pale in comparison to Stephens Lawn Service.

He is super reasonable. He is timely. If he is running late he let's me know. He is good to communicate with me. He is very immaculate with his work.

Overall I've been pleased with their services.

Based on his reviews on Angie's List decided to use Mike for our lawn service this summer. So far he has been everything our previous guy wasn't -- prompt, courteous, responsive and he does a great job. In fact, due to the lack of rain in May he noticed my grass wasn't growing very fast and called me to suggest we go from weekly to bi-weekly service until the grass started growing faster. This basically cut in half what I was paying him. The fact that he called to suggest he less service to save me money sold me on him forever. Thanks Mike, and keep up the good work!

He did a good job mowing and did not charge me for a contract since I have a small yard with lots of cover, but he did not come back the next week to do weeding. I called him but he never got back with me. Eventually I just left him a message not to worry about coming to do the weeding.

The weeding was disappointing, but I would use him again for moving since he did a good job there.

I started with them about a month and a half ago. He is great; he comes and goes and we don't even know he is here. When he is done everything is immaculate. We have a pool so he cleans it out of the pool; he is a very good, thorough guy. His pricing is reasonable and he is a professional. I will use him again in the future.

mr. Stephens started doing my yard work last summer, every two weeks...he quoted me a great price and his work has been good ever since. He also does any extra yard jobs, including hedge trim, weeding and leaf removal. His prices have always been very reasonable and I will continue to hire him for all my yard work.

Mike is very professional, respectful and polite. He does a fantastic job and we have been exceptionally pleased with his work. I'd highly recommend Mike Stephens.

Great Explained

Mike was professional on the phone, when he came to do the estimate, and when he performed the work. He was also personable, but did not overstep bounds as a lot of contractors do. We saw Mike a week after both of our sons died, so his demeanor and top-notch work was incredibly valuable to my husband and me. The young man he had working with him was a hard worker and had the same affable temperament.

Excellent experience. I will call on this company again with confidence.
