I have used Ron Phillips for several years to keep my trees healthy.  He comes when called and also drops by 2-3 times a year just to check on things.  He has treated my magnolia trees with proper nutrients to keep them healthy, treats bore worms both active and preventative, pecan tree web worms, and other tree issues that I have had.  He is very personable and knowledgeable.  I highly recommend him!

The fact that we've used Ron for over 20 years should tell you that we like his work and we trust him and we think we get good value for what we pay. I have the impression, from talking to other homeowners, that he might charge more than others, but we find his prices reasonable, given the quality and professionalism of his work. When the guys get here, they are fast and clean up after, and the trees look much better. His work protects us from the horrible scalping that TXU people will do when they come through to cut trees away from lines (spreading disease as they do so). The landscaping he did at our old house was good-looking and low-maintenance (what we wanted). He even threw in a trumpet vine to jazz up our fence. Sometimes they can't get to us immediately, if it's just a regular maintenance call, but on the few occasions we've needed Ron in a hurry, he got here. We recommend Ron to anyone who asks, and we're scheduled for a visit from him this summer.

We got to know about them from Angie?s List. Their work was excellent and we were very satisfied. They had also cleaned up after themselves.

Ron has been our arborist for many years and has helped us through wilt, webworms, nutritional problems with our trees, and the angst of trimming back old friends. We have an assortment of trees on our suburban lot-a huge pine, native yaupons and oaks, exotics such as Eve's necklace and a desert willow, even a misplaced beech, yet Ron always knows how to help each variety. Ron and his helpers always come when called, usually the same day! They have helped us keep our trees in top shape with annual feedings, insect spraying, and judicious trimming. Recently we found an infestation of webworms and called Ron immediately. The next thing I knew, Channel 11, the local CBS affiliate was at our door! Unbeknown to me, the station had called Ron that very day, knowing he is a local expert on trees in our area, to film a story on the problems the Metroplex was having with webworms. Ron soon arrived and they filmed a segment for the evening news in our front yard. Luckily, they didn't mention our address or show too much of our woebegone tree! The next morning, Ron's men arrived and took care of our webworm problem quickly and efficiently before it could spread to other trees in our yard. A few months later, that tree is now as beautiful as ever, thanks to Ron and his quick action.
