I wanted to pass on a great experience I had with Rick's Electric. I had a fairly simple electric issue to resolve but wanted to get a licensed electrician to make sure it was done right. I called a handful of companies and a lot of them blew me off as they wouldn't make much money off of me or just too busy. I even called electricians in my town thinking it would be easier for them to get to me as I was geographically close to them. I got Rick's phone number from a friend and after talking to him for a couple minutes on the phone, I was sure I had the guy that I wanted to hire. He was quick and responsive and did awesome work. I highly recommend him.

Rick was hired by the man who installed my sump pump.  He installed the circuit for the sump pump.  I felt he did a good job and was very professional and reasonably priced.  Based on that, I also had him do some other work. 

He installed a ceiling fan which was not easy because the store gave me the wrong remote for the fan. Rick made several attempts to determine the problem  He then called the store and they referred him to the manufacturer.  That took a great deal of additional time.  He found out that the particular model of fan only worked with a wall remote.  He had to get the correct wall remote and finally got everything to work.  He then also installed a dining room chandelier.  The last project was to remove a very antiquated electric circuit panel and install a new larger one.

 He was very thorough in his explanations of everything he was doing, which was appreciated.  He was quiet, efficient, and cleaned up everything after he finished the project.

I would definitely recommend him to others and would use him again.

I received an initial visit by Rick to discuss the proposed project. we went over the desired changes and he made some very good suggestion that could impact the cost and final look of the remodel. Rick gave us an estimate for the work and went ahead and scheduled a date to complete it. He arrived as scheduled, completed the work in a timely fashion and the final product was excellent. They did a good job of coordinating with other trades that were working in the house simultaneously.

Rick was suggested by the contractor who installed the French drain. Rick arrived for the appointment promptly. After he completed the French drain connection I told him what else I needed. He was very thorough in his explanations. He was very neat and professional. He worked efficiently. At each step he explained what he was doing.

Rick was hired to install a circuit for a sewer pump by the company that installed my French drain with sewer pump. Rick called to determine a convenient time to do the installation. He was very professional in his demeanor, his dress and in his explanation of what he was going to do. After seeing his work, I asked if he would be able to do some additional work for me while he was there. He installed a ceiling fan and a dining room fixture. He also replaced a very old electrical circuit panel in the garage. Rick was very conscientious about explaining what needed to be done.
