I got their name from a neighbor because they had done some work with the Homeowner's Association and I also looked on Angie's List and they were there. They were very good. I will definitely use them again.

They only charged for a service call. They come out promptly and they are on time. They are fairly priced. They don't leave until it is fixed. I've tried several irrigation companies and they are the best.

We just purchased a new home and had not yet used the sprinkler system. We had been told by another company that our system didn't work because we needed to replace the controller box. On May 1, I called Richard Irrigation from Angie's List for a second opinion. Sergio returned my call promptly, and was able to come out that same day. Upon inspection, he found that there was NO FUSE in the controller box! He inserted a new fuse, and the panel lit up. He told us that although the box was an older model, it was still operating. He proceeded to check all stations, and although some fine tuning was necessary, each was operating. I wasn't happy with the massive amounts of mist wasting away into the air, and Sergio suggested the Hunter pressure regulated heads that deliver more droplets and less mist. He alerted me up front that they were expensive - same with the newer Rainbird pressure regulated rotors. We arranged for the replacement of 23 heads and 6 rotors to be installed on May 3.
On May 3 Sergio promptly arrived on time, and came with a crew of 3 workers. They all worked together like a well-oiled machine! Besides installing the new heads, another pipe needed to be fixed, and 2 more heads were capped. Sergio then ran each station and adjusted all heads and rotors to maximize efficiency. Finally, he took the time to show me the ins/outs of the controller box while I took notes. I was also left with a detailed invoice, which I appreciate. We still need a few more rotors to complete the system, and I will have Richard Irrigation come out again. I highly recommend this company. Note: The price reflects the total of the 2 visits - 5-6 hours of labor and materials.

We had a significant landscaping redo of the entire front and side lawns of our home and several beds in the backyard. Richards Irrigation was selected on the recommendation of our landscaper who uses him almost exclusively. He arrived when promised and inspected the scope of work. He returned a few days later with two written estimates for the work, which was to be accomplished in two phases. He returned on the day promised to accomplish the 1st phase and accomplished everything required in a professional manner, including a change in scope of the original work estimate, for which he charged only the cost of additional parts. This resulted in excellent and total coverage of our lawn and all new beds. For the 2nd phase, he again arrived when promised and also did all that work in a professional manner, resulting in complete and improved coverage of all parts of the lawn and new beds. He returned several days after the planting of all shrubs, flowers, etc. was completed and redirected some coverage and changed some sprinkler heads. He returned a second time at our request and changed out a few heads to improved bed coverage and again redirected some heads for better coverage. He and his crew were always very professional and prompt and said to call anytime, if we noticed any anomalies in sprinkler coverage.
I don't know today's cost for installation of sprinkler systems. Richard's Irrigation seemed to be on the expensive side, but his work in all phases of the installation was outstanding and well worth the cost. He was attentive not only to the extensive new work and installation, but repaired, improved, redirected and generally fixed everything that was wrong with our original system that was installed over 20 years ago. I value honesty, promptness and top quality in any work that I contract to others and Richard's Irrigation more than excelled in all of these phases. I would gladly use him again and unreservedly recommend him to all others. As a plus, Randy Richards and all of his workmen were extremely nice and a pleasure to be around.

We purchased a house that has a sprinkler system that is decades old. Our neighbor said the previous owner had disconnected it and done all kinds of things to mess it up, and that it hadn't been used in many years. I called Randy and left a message. It took a day or two for him to call back, but it was well worth it. He came out the same day that he called and he and his assistant worked probably five hours that day, then came out the next day and finished it up. He did not change the price originally quoted to me, even though he ended up needing more parts than anticipated.
Richards Irrigation is just the kind of company I love to deal with--a small, locally owned company run by a knowledgeable, capable hands-on owner with high integrity, and who has excellent employees as well. And just a good, nice person. I had complete confidence in Randy and his assistant, not only that they would get the job done right, but at a fair price, too. I will definitely contact Randy for any future needs. Highly recommend.

Randy promptly responded to call and gave an estimated date/time when he come out. His responsiveness was excellent. He and his worker were very professional. He walked me through what needed to be done and gave me an estimate of cost, etc. Very professional job.

These guys are great! We have used them several times and they have been wonderful each time. After they cleaned up you couldn't even tell they were there. I would recommend them to anyone.

The total cost was more than I was anticipating, but there was much more that needed repair and replacement in our irrigation system than I'd realized. Randy was very clear about what he'd found and what he recommended. He offered options to save money, do the project in stages, continue with the original timers, etc. We opted to overhaul the entire system and be done with it. Randy was professional, honest and did a good job. I'll call him again when we need repairs.

Called Richard's Irrigation and owner called back within minutes. Sent very knowledgeable technician out. He had the proper equipment and knowledge to locate the station that was not working(I do not have a map of the original installation of the system with the station locations). Recommended that I change out timer(control box) but did not and quot;hard selland quot; me-merely advised that it had certain symptoms that indicated it might not last much longer. I decided to replace the control box or program timer, and he did so quickly, after quoting a fair price for it.

Was very pleased with the professonalism of both the owner on the call and the technician. They knew what they were doing and charged fair price for their services.

Was about an hour later than estimated time of arrival, which was no problem. I called late Friday afternoon, about 4:50PM and left a message. Sergio called Sat. morn at 8:30 and said they could be here about 1:00PM. All work was performed to my satisfaction. Some repairs were needed that I was not aware of. I am very pleased with their work and professional manner. I will use Richards (with an s) Irrigation again when I have any problem.

Truly excellent. Within a couple of hours we went from a few heads working to a fully functioning system. I can not thank him enough and his team was totally professional.

It's an old system and had developed a leak. Randy came when he said he would and gave me an estimate. They came and fixed it with no trouble. This isn't the first time Randy has done work for me and I am thrilled with his customer service. I especially appreciate that he didn't try to talk me into a newer system rather than fixing what I have. I will use him again when I need sprinkler help.

Prompt return call. Arrived at scheduled time, very thorough explanation of what they were doing. Completed in a timely manner, cleaned up and restored yard back where they had to dig to install new valve. Excellent service. Would highly recommend.

Called for an estimate. Randy returned my call that day but I missed the call. He called back the next day. Was told on Fri. that he could come out Mon. morning. He called 10 minutes before arriving at the agreed time. Very friendly and professional. Randy showed up with two workers. All work was done in less that an hour. Grass replaced just as it was. Work was done just as stated.He also checked out the whole system and adjusted heads as needed. Overall a very good experience. Richard Irrigation is now my "sprinkler guy".

I am so happy with Richard's Irrigation Service. Not only did he respond to my phone call that day but also came right over and started and completed the job in about 4 hours. Gave me a precise timetable and kept me apprised of work. Very satisfied and will highly recommend to friends.

It was great. Even with storms rolling through causing some delays and the need to walk the dogs instead of just letting them out in the yard, it was reatively painless. The City of Arlington does not make things easy with their requirement of plans that must be submitted, permits and inspections that all have to be scheduled. Randy and Sergio came a couple days early to address our high water pressure issue. They also scheduled all the services in the area to come ahead of time and mark/flag all phone, gas and electric lines so we never had any issues with them once the work got going. Then Sergio and one other man spent the next 3 days putting in the system according to the plans. We ended up with 7 zones (2 are drip irrigation zones for flower beds) . They always answered questions, and let us know what was happening and what to expect. Both Randy and Sergio explained the system to me, and then Randy came for a final walk through, explaination of the cold and water sensors, showed us how to set and run the system. 2 days later, Sergio was back to see how everything was working. He addressed any minor issues (due to more large Spring storms we had some dirt wash away, which he replaced) checked and tweeked the entire system one last time before waiting around for hours until the Arlington Inspector came and OK'd the work. Everything has been fine since that time

He also had done some work prior to that for me which he hadn't billed me for so I spent about $1100 together. He's very a prompt and a very nice person. He's honest and does good work. He also was quick to recommend somebody else for the electrical work. His price is pretty good and inline. The work was done very well. I've already used him before. I would use him again in the future.

We are very pleased. After finding them on Angie's list, I called the company just a few days ago at about 5:30pm. I left a message, expecting a call back the next day. To my surprise he called back about an hour later and was able to come out within a few days. He was helpful on the phone and clear about the quote and scheduling. He came this morning right on time. The repair was a bit more work than I thought it would be but he did not charge more and explained exactly what the problem was and how he fixed it. I am amazed that this kind of customer service is still around. Thanks to Angie's list. By the way, two other companies I called have yet to return my call.
