The process started off well. Republic's website was easily navigated, and I submitted my request for an estimate.
Someone called me back the following day, and quote lots of numbers to me. Price per ton, price per day, price for delivery, price for delivery, price for pickup, price for overages....
...I must admit, it was all a bit confusing. A quote was faxed over for me to sign, but when the fax arrived, the numbers were completely different than I expected. I called the same person back, and had him walk me through an itemization of the invoice. They basically wanted the money up front, which is somewhat understandable in this line of business. I agreed to the estimate, and the very next day, a dumpster arrived. However, what they delivered was not the and quot;Volkswagen Beetleand quot; sized container I ordered, but a full dump truck sized container. Getting more than I expected was not a bad thing, until the end of the process.
Once the container was near full, and my renovations were at an end, I called for the final pickup. The trouble was, they again wanted a payment before they would schedule the and quot;final haul.and quot; The estimate amounted to almost exactly what I had pre-paid originally, but I was told that the first payment was only a deposit, and could not be used to pay for the and quot;final haul.and quot; So, without a choice, I paid up again, and the container disappeared the next day.
Now, a week later, I get two refunds from Republic. First, a refund of the and quot;Depositand quot; I originally paid. Second, a refund of a portion of the and quot;final hauland quot; payment I had made. Yet again, the invoice does not itemize the charges I am paying. I guess the final amount is about what I expected, but it's so hard to tell. I will definitely not be back should I need this type of service again.

They are the best. They seemed to be just better in terms of time commitment, damage control, digging holes in concrete, and picking them all pretty easily. Their communication level exceeds the expectation.
