All went well. Team was on time and worked late. Came back next morning and finished up. This is second roof I've had replaced by this firm in about three years, my main house and on this, another property. I always get a couple of bids on any job. I might be able to find a lower price than this firm's price, by a fly-by-night company, but quality might not be as it is with this company. They are professionals and they do it right the first time. Of course, I always check work during the job and upon completion, but this firm makes it easy, - doing their own QC as they go, and before they call me out for final inspection. Yes, I'll use them again, and yes, I recommend them. RM

Bruce Sabine with QTR came to my home on 1/9/14 and we discussed what was needed. QTR was the third bid that I secured for the job and I already knew that I wanted the class IV shingles. The other things that we discussed was an area of facia at the back which needed to be rebuilt, and an area where I had a concern due to the low slope of the roof. Mr. Sabine left his bid that same day. After reviewing all bids, my husband and I decided to go with QTR even though the bid was a bit higher than the other two we'd already received. We had looked on Consumer Reports as well, and QTR was the only one of the three bids that was for the Certainteed shingles; CR said it was better to pay more for the better quality shingles, so that's what we did. Signed the contract on 1/13 and emailed it that evening to Mr. Sabine. Tim Cox is the production manager and he called next day to schedule the work to start Thursday of that week, on 1/16. On the morning of the 16th, the crew called at 0900 to say they were slightly delayed. Steve Hussion arrived to do the carpentry repairs (he did a beautiful job) and the crew led by Alfonso Caro arrived a bit later. I felt very comfortable with everyone on QTR's team. I have a home office but the construction noise was quite tolerable and the crew not at all obtrusive. Mr. Cox kept me advised of the work's progress, letting me know right away about the larger number of deck sheeting that had to be replaced and what that would entail. Mr. Caro and his crew worked very hard until past sundown on Thursday and Friday, and the job was finished late Saturday. After finishing the roof, the entire area was cleaned of debris, made more challenging with leaves still in the area.

Removed 2 layers of shingles; installed radiant barrier decking and 30 year shingles. Also installed 1 powered and 1 unpowered roof vent. Overall I was quite pleased. I contacted them initially regarding a leak in my roof and after an initial inspection they recommended I contact my insurance provider to replace the roof. I needed some additional work done and they kept to the schedule so a plumber was able to relocate a vent pipe during the middle of the 3 day job. They weren't the cheapest quote I received, but they took some time to share some knowledge with me during their estimates. The crew were a group of very hard working men. I hope they are compensated generously for their work. In the end I was out of pocket for just a few hundred dollars above my deductible. Other quotes I received seemed to try to up-sell me more. I appreciated this companies honest and informative approach

I chose to get an estimate from Quality Tops Roofing because of their high ratings on Angie's List. Bruce Sabine came to the house and met with me to discuss the job. He took measurements and provided me a written estimate before he left. The house/roof also needed some carpentry work which was handled with a different bid and subcontractor. This work slowed the roof work slightly, but the roofers worked around the carpenters and the job went well. During both the roof work and the carpentry work, we discovered additional areas needing repair. The additional cost for this work was reasonable and I was pleased with the outcome. Shortly after I accepted the bid, we had an ice storm that left the roof covered for three days. The roofing supervisor, Tim Cox, called to ask if it would be acceptable for them to work on Saturday and Sunday. I agreed. They did a lot of the removal on Saturday and made the roof secure against rain overnight even though there was no rain in the forecast. Most of the roofing work was completed on Sunday, but they ended up short a few bundles of shingles and the carpentry work was not done yet. The carpenters finished on Monday, the additional shingles were delivered and the roof was finished just before dark. I was very pleased with the roofing work and the impact resistant shingles (Class 4) allowed me to get nearly a 30% discount on my homeowners insurance. Tim Cox completed the certificate I needed to send to my insurance company to get the discount.

Paul did a good job. No leak after the repair was done. The cost is as quoted. One minor complaint is that he should call me if he can not keep the appointment due to weather. Instead i have to call him to make sure when will be the next day that he can come. Overall I am happy that they fixed the leak. I will use their service again.

Honest, good price, quality work, on-time, clean. After hail damage QTR removed the old shingles and replaced the entire roof. We were very pleased with the advice they provided choosing the shingles (making sure that all the material would enable us to get the manufacturer warranty), the work was done on-time even after someone stole some of their material during the night! I couldn't be more pleased with their quality.

They are excellent! The quality of the work that they did was amazing. Also, Quality went to bat for us against our insurance company to negotiate having our entire roof redone. They paid attention to detail - all the flashing was done beautifully, and the turbines on the roof are color coordinated. They're very easy to work with, too. We're very happy with them! They do come back and pay attention to what the crews do. The crews were very efficient and knew what they were doing. When they were finished, they cleaned up around the house better than what the landscaper had done. They were very courteous and attentive - if I had a question, they stopped and answered my questions.

Tim and Bruce were very helpful in pre-scheduling the repair date and supplies ordering. The work crew was on-time and worked hard throughout the day and well into late evening on the first day. A second day was equally productive, including cleanup. Quality Tops worked with our insurance company, and provided required estimates in a timely manner. This past summer was very hot but we noticed that the air conditioner was not as overworked as the previous summer. The wind turbines Really helped reduce the attic heat. I highly recommend this company and would use them again for roof repair.

Absolutely fabulous from the beginning. The representative who came out to the house was polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. The company had the best price of the three companies we interviewed and they really got us the very best roof and vent system possible for our money. We had our entire roof replaced with high-impact shingles and our inadequate vent system was improved with solar vents. As well we were offered a 50-year warranty that gives us a lot of peace of mind. The work coordinator, Tim, really went the extra distance to get answers to our questions and kept us up-to-the-minute on what to expect, the progress, and the completion details. Workers were punctual, very friendly, and did a fantastic job on our roof. We would definitely recommend this company to family and friends and in the event we need roofing services of any kind in future we will be calling Quality Tops. Couldn't be more pleased.

I called Quality Tops Roofing and got the estimate within a same week. Paul was very professional. He answered all my questions and did a great job in repair. Also, the price that he offered was the most competitive among the three quotes. There have been several heavy rains since the repair and I don't see any signs of leaking.

Bruce, Tim and the roofing crew from Quality Tops Roofing were EXCELLENT!! We couldn?t be happier with the overall experience. This was our first time having to replace a roof on a home so we weren?t sure what we were going to get into. The communication through the entire process was excellent. They showed up when they said they were going to. The crew was careful not to damage landscaping and did a great job cleaning up. Most of all, after meeting them, you can tell they take pride in their work and are honest people who care about doing what?s right for you and your home.

Quality Tops Roofing, owned by Bruce Sabine, recently re-roofed three houses for me here in Wichita Falls. Two of the houses were rather simple rentals, but the other was my own home, which is anything but simple. Built a hundred years ago, and at around 7500 square feet, it must be a roofer?s nightmare. Most of it is two story, but there are huge porches that are all flat roof with a bewildering array of air conditioner units and other machinery. The second floor opens onto a second story porch that is also a flat roof over a porch. Finally, there is a cupola over a porch in the front of the house that is essentially a many-sided cone. I could go on, but you get the idea. I did my research and learned that Bruce, the owner has been in the roofing business for almost 40 years, and for the last 35 has owned his own company. I also learned that he has become a favorite of homebuilders and remodelers who get themselves in a mess with their design and call on him to come fix whatever problems they have in their roofing systems. On my roof there was a design problem in the roof at the point where the cupola joined into the house. It leaked every time it rained. Bruce diagnosed the problem in a matter of seconds. Now, no leak! I imagine that one of the challenges that roofing companies have is how to instill the company values and policies in their crews. Bruce introduced me to his solution to the problem in his project manager, Tim, who is a superior quality control and customer service guy. He made sure every detail was attended to quickly and efficiently. Tim was especially considerate of my renters and communicated with them consistently so they knew what to expect. When it was all said and done, I hardly knew they were there - except for the beautiful new ?Quality Tops? on my houses! Obviously, I am crazy about these guys. Paul was awesome to work with for this minor repair. He came out and gave an estimate and the reapir was made sooner than expected.

My first interaction with Quality Tops Roofing was very professional. They said that they'd be at my house at a certain date at a certain time and they followed through. Not only were they extremely punctual they were fair in their estimate (and yes, we had price shopped and had others come to look at the problem). I very much appreciate that I was talked to without a condescending tone. I felt respected with every interaction I had with this company. I had actually asked them to investigate a couple of issues about our roof and our home and they were very fair to say that we didn't need to do "this" or "that" and even gave us ways to do a couple of things on our own. I really feel like they wanted to do a good job for us and not "nickel and dime" us in the process.

Arrived promptly to provide initial inspection. Provided estimate to fix area that was a problem, and performed work as described. Very professional. Would use them again.

This is a wonderful company. Everyone is totally professional and extremely honest. The work was accomplished in a day and looks absolutely superb. The cleanup was immaculate. I love this roofing company and I highly recommend them.

I called for an estimate, and they set up an appointment to come out the next day. They arrived when they were supposed to arrive, and left a written estimate and an idea of how much lead time I'd need to give them if I accepted their bid. They weren't the lowest or the highest, but they were the company I left the best impression. I accepted a bid and they gave me a date. The day before the day before the job was set to be done the shingles and other materials were delivered, which was what I'd been told to expect. The next day the crew arrived exactly when they were supposed to, and set to work. They were quick and did an excellent job. The only problem I had at this stage was when they were doing the tear off they were tossing the trash of the material with no real concern for where it went. I know that if I have a roof replace I'm going to have a yard full of trash, I don't expect trash to be tossed into my neighbors yard. I went over and picked it up myself after it had been sitting in their yard for a couple of hours. The whole job from start to finish took about a day and a half, and the end result was beautiful. After they left I did find some trash left behind, including a couple of large pieces of metal drip edge in the limbs of trees. They called after the job was completed and asked if I was satisfied. I told them the roof was beautiful, but some trash had been left behind. They offered to send someone out to pick it up, but by this time I'd already cleaned it up myself. Even with the relatively minor problem with the clean up, I'd still use this company again if I needed roofing work, and would recommend them to friends and family. While they weren't perfect, they were way above average. My wife and I have owned this house for over twenty-five years, this is the second time we've had a roof replaced, we've had a kitchen and sunroom remodeled by different contractors, electrical work done, and Quality Tops was among the best contractors we have used.

All work was completed in the agreed to time and with a minimal of disruption to my day. The crew was professional and cleaned up after themselves. Really great job. They did not propose any work that wasn't needed. They did all the work they proposed and they kept in contact with me. I am impressed with them and will use them again.

Found an exhaust pipe that needed to be caulked around - fixed it and caulked some other spots on the roof. Seemed like a lot of money for about 30 minutes on a roof, but they did stop the leak.
