Jewelry Sales/Design/Repair
Yesterday, I took two pieces of good (St. John) costume jewelry in for a repair. One is a simple repair, just replacing a missing link in a chain. The other is more complicated and involves drilling a tiny hole, reattaching two links, then inserting a tiny pin and soldering all together. The owner knows jewelry. For example, he immediately recognized the piece as pewter (who knew? it's gold and black, enamel-like), then explained how he'd undertake the repair creatively. Oh, and he's fast. I dropped off Saturday morning and it will be ready Monday.
