Chris communicated with us very professionally and a serviceman was sent to us. He did the job as well as it could be done with his cable rooter (we had declined the water jet) and was able to tell me exactly where the clogs were and what future remedy there might be with water jetting. Chris gave me a price over the phone before the tech arrived - I had declined two other companies when they wouldn't give me a price on the phone... I really hate the pressure of a tech not giving a price until they arrive. They came to us on a Saturday afternoon, big plus!

They are FANTASTIC! We were in the process of buying a foreclosed property when we found out there was a leak on an exterior wall. They went out same day to estimate it and fixed it the next! We were able to close on time and they did exactly what they said they would do. I have used them MANY times in the past and will keep on using them!

The serviceman was on time. He was professional and knowledgable. He removed the old and installed the new in a short period of time. He did not make a mess. The job was neat, clean and well-done when completed. The man was informative and let us know what steps were needed and approximately when he would finish. Plumbco installed the new kitchen faucet two weeks later when we had the new countertops installed. The servicemen are very experienced and knowledgable. They never leave any mess to clean up, which we have found to be unusual.

An appointment was scheduled shortly after initial contact and then confirmed before actual installation. Removal and installation took a while due to weight of old tank heaters and re-working the existing connections but was finished easily by the end of the day.

The inspector found two relatively obscure issues that they eventually came back to 'fix' at no charge.

I also found a couple of issues myself - one of which they fixed and one which I will need to address on my own.

The first issue involved running the drain line to a real inside drain - as opposed to a secondary drain line that simply leads out to the yard. This is per the manufacturer's installation instructions and was fixed at no charge.

The second issue involves the flashing around the roof vent and intake pipes. They should have used new flashing which would have conformed to the diameter of the new pipes. Instead, they used the old flashing which was too big for the new pvc pipes. As a result, the gap around the new pipes is now too big to caulk - allowing water to leak in when it rains. A roofer said it would cost hundreds to 'do it right' since they need to cut and re-couple the pvc pipes in order to install new flashing...

So for those of you thinking of doing this, make sure the flashing they install is new and/or seals properly against the vent piping!

We found the wax ring alternative and asked Plumbco to install it. They ordered the ring and we scheduled the appointment. Reasonably responsive and easy to deal with by either phone or email. Cost was reasonable. Service was professional. They will also be installing an Eternal water heater soon, so stay tuned for details!!!

They usually come out twice a year. Rates are reasonable, they are friendly, they do good work, and they always clean up after themselves. They are the best plumbing service I've ever used.

I use them because they guarantee their service. They will come back and redo the work again if it doesn't last for some reason. Their prices are reasonable. The staff is very courteous, and they are required to wear uniforms and take refresher courses on plumbing. They have a membership and the cost of that can be deducted from whatever services they come out to do. The quality of work was excellent and I will definitely use their services again.

On New Years Eve, we came home to find we could hear water running in our pipes. We had a bad leak somewhere under our slab from a broken pipe. we immediately turned off our water at the meter and began the search for a good plumber. Slab leaks are not covered under homeowner insurance, so this large expense was going to come out of our pockets entirely. I called my insurance agent to ask their recommendation--which was Plumbco. I combed the Better Business Bureau's listed ratings. Plumbco had a very good rating. I also joined Angie's List, but they did not have a reference for them yet. I called Plumbco to come give an estimate. The first young man who came was very nice and determined the leak was a cold water line leak (but not where under the house) and gave an estimate range of $1200 to $2000 to fix it. He charged $49 for coming out. I then called ANOTHER company that is most highly rated with Angie's List for an estimate. I was not comfortable with their plan to use "Pex" line to bypass the leak in my attic. Pex is a plastic tubing that is used a lot now because of the price of copper and the fact it can be easily snaked through walls, etc. If you have not seen it, it can be easily cut with a knife (think of a rat chewing) and if you bend it in cold weather, it will break. It's only been used at all the past 10 years or so. I called Plumbco back again and I talked to another plumber named Jason over the phone. I was beside myself at this point over what to do. I still did not know where the leak was and was extremely worried about jackhammering up my expensive floor. I didn't want plastic tubing in my attic with 60 pounds of water pressure in it. He offered to come out and find the leak for free since the first plumber who came had charged me for the call already. Then I would know which floor might be affected if I broke open the slab to fix it. He came out and spent a couple hours and found the leak. We talked about all my options and he agreed with me that Copper had a longer track record. He offered to use all thick copper with high pressure fittings to re-route the line in my attic for the same price as the other company was going to charge for the much cheaper Pex. He guaranteed it not to ever leak with a lifetime warranty. He also offered to fix the numerous other plumbing chores I needed for an extremely reasonable cost at the same time. I was impressed with Jason's willingness to set my mind at ease and answer all my many many questions patiently. He has extensive knowledge and experience and has been with Plumbco for a long time. He came out a couple days later and spent two days working on everything. I was impressed with his good cheer, his excellent work, and the excellent value he delivered. Plumbco has earned my business in the future. I can't say enough good things about Jason. I have running water again! Everything works and I'm very happy.
