Mr. Handyman of Arlington and Northwest Mansfield

Handyman showed up on time as promised. He was courteous and professional . Final price was considerably above quoted. Handyman spent about 30 minutes patching the stucco, then came back to paint 3 days later as agreed, the whole job took about 1 hour of labor. Pleased with the result, but feel that it was definitely overpriced.

They didn't even come to assess the problem. I got a text telling me I needed to get a roofer first, the they would come to replace the door frame. The door frame was rotten and was the cause of the roof leak. Very disappointed with Angie's list recommendations.

Wade was punctual and professional. He was knowledgeable about all the projects, and he was very efficient. I was pleasantly surprised by how much he was able to accomplish in the time he was at my home. Great job!

The "HandyMan" Joe was on time and very cordial. He worked steady and set the new post accurately.

It went great! The repairman was very personable, courteous, and professional in how he handled his job. As the brick mailbox housing was being put back in place using crane-type equipment, the repairman continually measured the distance on each side of it from the curb to make sure it was installed parallel to the curb. He then added additional dirt around it to be sure it was securely anchored. Great service!!!

It went very well. The person who did the work, Todd Perry, was excellent. His work ethic and skill level was superb. I would highly suggest that you ask for Todd, and I hope that Mr. Handyman knows what a valued employee he is for their company. He knew what he was doing, was obviously highly experienced in home renovations and construction, and I could not have been more pleased with his work. Would I like to pay less? Of course, but things that are important to me that I am willing to pay a bit more for and understand that they cost a bit more include a company who hires and keeps skilled employees, has appropriate liability insurance to cover not only their work but also their employees, is responsive to the customer's concerns, and makes a wrong right when necessary. The only area that I suggest improvement in is that the company needs to include an estimate in their quote for work to be done to include a detailed cost estimate of removal of construction debris. In my case concerning this recent job, there was quite a bit of construction debris from the removal of the ceiling in the room where the work was being done. Although the workers bagged the debris up in construction garbage bags, they thought it appropriate to put it out for my garbage service to pick up. This just happened to be on a Tuesday which is one of my garbage pickup days. Well, Republic Services which services Arlington, TX, picked up my normal bagged garbage and "red-tagged" me for the construction debris bags leaving them behind. The worker who was helping Mr. Perry [I apologize that I cannot remember his name now] was a very good worker and very nice, but he did not seem to realize that Republic Services is not required to pick up construction debris in the City of Arlington. He indicated to me that they [meaning Mr. Handyman I assume] had done it before, but as I told him they were just "lucky" that the trash service picked it up and the homeowner did not get "red-tagged" as I did. Now, let me make it clear, Mr. Handyman did have someone pick the construction debris bags up that day, and also picked up the carpet that was removed from the room the next day, but I feel that it is important that they should include the cost of this removal in their estimates so that the homeowner knows that this is something that they will take care of for a cost. I do not know if other cities in the metroplex have garbage services that are okay with picking up such things; I am just referring to what I know about mine.
