Stephanie made the experience fun, exciting, and easy. And her $50 initial consultation, along with 20% commission was extremely reasonable for her time and effort spent. She went with me to pick out fabric. She got all the drapery rods, etc., based on my specifications. She took the fabric to the workrooms and picked up the finished products. She personally covered two benches in my bedrooms. Window covering installation was quick and efficient and all of this was included in her reasonable prices. For the polished look we got, Stephanie's prices are a real bargain.

My wife and I would not hesitate to use Knotty Pearls Design and Event Planning again and would recommend Abby and Stephanie to anyone looking for interior design work. Their assistance has been both professional and excellent!

Overall it was a good experience. She was very helpful in assisting in selections of colors and materials. It was helpfull that she was able, in most instances, to obtain additional discounts of 10%-15%.

She was very professional and did a very nice job for us. She offered some suggestions and drew up a little diagram. We are still not sure what we want to do so that was the extent of the work that we did with her. She didn't actually go ahead and get what she suggested. She was on time and came when she said. She seemed very easy to work with.

The consultation meeting was free, as Stephanie met with me to determine my goal for reshaping the living room. She then very promptly followed up with a formal presentation to assure her vision aligned with what I wanted done. After we agreed to proceed, Stephanie set a time table when each phase of the project would be complete along with a detailed budget of the costs of furniture and finishes. I received the first invoice about a week after the initial meeting and another one once the project was complete. We where able to stay on schedule and she was able to save me some money on the furniture I wanted through a distributor she knew. Overall, I couldn't be more pleased!

Overall, I was very pleased with her services, she showed up on time and returned all my calls promptly. Her initial consultation fee was only $50.00 and then she will charge extra if she goes and finds fabrics or paint, etc. for you, which is a great service if you're really busy. Or, as in my case, I work full time and I'm also currently somewhat handicapped as I just had knee replacement surgery this spring. Ms. Davis, when we downsized and moved to our small condo, came up with the idea of taking out the outmoded tub/shower combo and putting in a state-of-the-art tiled shower with additional cabinetry built on the back side of the shower for much, much needed storage space in the bathroom. She assisted us with tile selection, paint, fixtures, and accessories for the bathroom redo. In addition, she helped me pick the granite for my kitchen upgrade, along with the coordinating tile and pattern for the backsplash. She was more than happy to run errands, show us where to find bargains, etc. for a minimal fee. Then this summer when I wanted to redo my living room, I called her again and she helped me locate seating that would fit our unusually configured living room, as well as assisting with fabric swatches, and painting tips/colors.
