Service call on 12/12 was for the Company to check the electric work of a fired employee. The employee presented himself as an employee of JW Electric. He told me it was okay with his employer to solicit outside work on his own time. I found out that he had been fired & got rid of him as soon as I could. Called owner Jeff McColley & related what had happen. McColley said he wanted $125.00 per hour to check the work of his former employee that had scammed me. I agreed for them to check the electric work. Their electrician verified that the fired employee had corrected a fire code violation correctly with the back porch light. Their electrician verified all other electric work completed okay except for setting the motion detectors on the porch & garage. Their Electrician set motion detectors for distance & told me it would take a few days to adjust. Something the install instructions did not state. Their Electrician on 12/18 spent most of his time answering personal phone calls, playing with the controls without reading the install instructions. I offered the instructions to the Electrician several times but he would not read the install instructions. After an hour of watching negative effort by the Electrician, I got the install instructions & read them to the Electrician. The electrician would not put the light into test mode to check the distance he set. He told me that it would take several days to adjust even though the install instructions does not state so, & that he could not check during the daytime. Called 12/27 & spoke with Amy. Told her motion detectors still not set correctly. She check with Supervisor & told me I would have to climb up & set the motion detectors that it was not their responsibility. I reminded her that I paid to have it done. She repeated herself that it was not the Electric Company responsibility even though I paid for that service. She knew I was 100% Disable Veteran & did not care in telling me that "I would have to climb up & set the motion detectors." Tried to reach owner, left message, no return call. Front Porch light motion still does not work until someone is directly under the light.
Description of Work: Service call on 12/18 was to correct electrical work performed on 12/12/2013. Their Electrician said the garage lights motion was working correctly. I told him just the front porch light motion needed adjusted because it would not come on until some got under it.
