Description of Work: I called the guys at Jots when my Pioneer amplifier / receiver stopped working. They were super professional and upfront about both the diagnosis fee ($50) and the repair fees. They clearly set expectations before they started work that often with the type of receiver I was bringing them that they repairs might be cost prohibitive. I decided to have them look at it anyway. | |Within a day of having the receiver I was called back with the diagnosis. Unfortunately the repair with labor cost would have been more than the cost of a replacement. I did not have the repair work done but even still, they guys at Jots were able to add value to my experience. | |It was suggested that the cause of the problem may have been a short in my speakers. They encouraged me to bring in all my speakers and they checked them for shorts. They likely also discovered the cause of the problem in some of my speakers that were reporting a lower impedance than was marked. | |They even showed me which part of the receiver the problem was in. Having them do the repair work would cost considerable (and necessary) labor charges, but if I wanted to attempt the repair myself (can't make it worse, right?) they showed me exactly which part needed repair. | |I wouldn't hesitate to bring a piece of electronics back to Jots for repair.

Description of Work: THEY LOOKED AT THE BROKEN TV TO SEE IF THEY COULD FIX IT WITH REPLACEMENT PARTS.
