When Howard came by to discuss listing our house, he had clearly done his homework beforehand. He knew the equivalent market in our area and how much we should be asking for our house. He had a detailed plan for selling our house, over and above what had been done. Since we were moving out soon into our new home, we had considered staging. Howard advised against it. Once we listed with him, he kept us up-to-date on a near daily basis on how things were going. Once we got an offer, he helped us through a difficult negotiation. Since we had two mortgages since moving out, we really needed to sell. Howard did a great job in selling our house. Also, Ready Real Estate only charges 4.5% commission rather than 6% but is still full-service. The listing agent just takes 1.5%, leaving the selling agent with their 3%.
