If you need anything done with regards to granite or tile you must contact Thom and Sue at Hard Rock Granite and Tile. They are outstanding. Every aspect of the job from start to finish was done correctly, on time and with the utmost professionalism. We had an original contractor who completely dropped the ball and Hard Rock stepped in and simply made it happen. The entire experience was fantastic. Even when obstacles sprang up, which they always do during projects, Hard Rock found a way to resolve any issue and fix any problem. However great they were to work with the finished product was even better. The countertops are simply fantastic. We have had several contractors who have asked for their information to use them going forward. Thom and Sue and all of the folks at Hard Rock Granite and Tile are simply put the best in the business.

The process and project went very well. This is a great company to work with and I would recommend them highly. Picking out granite takes time and they worked with us to pick out the best for our project. They where even willing to take out our old "entry level" granite, re-fabricate it and place in our game room. We are thrilled with the new look!

It was okay. The follow-up wasn't so great. They didn't clarify things. They didn't really have time to inspect the work. They were standing there ready to do. I thought it was pretty pushy. We didn't get a whole lot of follow-up after week that we wanted. The work was okay.

"I'm sorry you were disappointed with our service. I have checked your file and talked to your project manager, and I cannot find a single negative issue noted throughout your project. Your template was scheduled with you as quickly as possible for December 1st, and your installation was completed on December 9th. I'm sorry you felt pushed, that was certainly not our intention. We were trying to be time sensitive and responsive so that we could stay on the schedule we committed to in order to complete your project as quickly as possible since you were without countertops. At the end of your installation the crew inspected their work with you before they left and gave you a completion form to fill out. Everything was marked as completely satisfied, so we did not call you to follow up. Your final paid-in-full invoice was emailed to you two business days after completion. If there was a quality, responsiveness, or professionalism problem with your experience with us, we were not informed or aware of it until this review was posted and we sincerely apologize."

They are AMAZING! This is the second time in 3 years we've used HRG for our home rejuvenation projects, and they never fail to exceed expectations. It went well. I had some cabinet work being done as well and needed to wait for a bit if time before I wanted the countertop and backsplash installed. They were very accommodating and worked with my schedule.

I could tell that the man who bid on updating my kitchen, Thom McClinton, really was a real "stone man" when he was answering my questions about the different types of stones, tiles, etc. (unlike the other 3 bids I got from men who were just salesman) but I didn't know 'till I chose his bid that Thom is also the owner of the company. He personally went with me to "granite row" in Dallas twice to help me pick out my stone and the tile and he and his wife Sue held my hand throught the whole process. The installers were professional, courteous and easy to communicate with. I am very pleased with the results---so much so that I'm planning on hiring them to update my master bathroom next month.. (Btw, most of the neutral granites without the wild patterns that might turn off a potential buyer in the future are "level one" stones and are the same quality as the variegated granites but are much less expensive.) 10 stars. I had used Hard Rock before for my kitchen remodel. Again, the service and quality were fantastic. Because my outdoor kitchen was "hand-made", it was not perfectly symmetrical or level. The installers came out to take final measurements and quickly noticed things were not perfect. We had to work together to find a solution to minimize the defects. They were very helpful. The granite install went well and looks fabulous. However, the hardest part is always actually finding the perfect stone. Thom is fantastic in this regard. I think he knows every granite warehouse in Dallas and they all know him. I explained what characteristics I was looking for and he was able to find the absolutely perfect choice for the outdoors. That made all the difference.

The experience was fabulous. All the vendors that came through to work on my kitchen after the new counter tops were installed all wanted to know who I had install them because they were impressed. He really helps you all the way through the process and educates you so you can make the best decision for your house. He publishes the whole process so you can see the step by step process of things. In the contract I had with him it specifically states that if you have them scheduled to come out and they come and can't do the work because of something else that wasn't finished in time that you still have to pay for the labor that was scheduled from the provider. I had a delinquent delivery of my cook top and they were supposed to come out. So I called and explained it to him and he understood what had happened and re-arranged his workers schedule to fit to me so he ended up saving me $400 for that day and could reschedule it to my needs. He showed me all the options and educated me on them for the entire process.He helped me pick the granite and he helped me decide how to design my backsplash. He has wonderful taste so it helped me in making my decisions. This was one of those deals you spend a lot of money on and you are actually very comfortable with spending that money when the work is done. I didn't regret any of it.

Excellent. Roger came to our house and took measurements and spoke to us about all the options. He is very personable, friendly, informative, and most importantly patient. He gave us names of places to go look at granite. We spent several weeks looking and Roger met us at several places. He was there to answer questions and make sure we saw everything. Tom the owner, was also amazing. He listened to what we were looking for and advised Roger what to show us. We were so impressed with them. Once we chose the pieces of granite, they invited us to go to the place where they cut the granite. My husband went and agreed with the pieces they chose to assemble. This is the real talent because it takes a good eye to know how to match the pieces. The installation was done on time and the men that were sent to our home were professional and superb. The backsplash was installed with care with an excellent eye to detail. The tile pieces for the backsplash were different and care was given to choose the ones that looked best next to each other. The whole experience could not have been better. We also bought a Blanco sink from them and it is fantastic. It was their recommendation and we love it. Plus, I have given their name to several of my friends and they have completed work for at least one of my friends. This is a friendly, caring and professional team. I highly recommend them.

Everyone I dealt with throughout the process was fantastic. My contact, Roger, was great about giving me a thorough estimate, including lots of helpful hints, walking with me while I selected my granite slabs, and arranging for me to be present when the templates were placed on the slabs prior to fabrication. He has been extremely responsive throughout the process. The team that handled the template creation and installation of the slabs did an outstanding job. The team that handled the template placement and fabrication was also wonderful and extremely responsive. My kitchen looks phenomenal - I couldn't be more pleased.

We were very happy with their service. We also referred them to our best friends and they were equally satisfied. We did price out other companies and Hard Rock had the best pricing. They completed the job in different stages. They gave us a good referral for a company who could disconnect and re connect the sink while they did the counter tops. They completed the job in about 4 days. The staff was great at explaining everything to me. They were happy to answer all of my questions and were very informative. They seemed to be very knowledgeable and helpful. I had no problem contacting them ever or scheduling the service.

They had to rip out the counters and re do them. They were not pleasant when they had to do that because the counters were not up to our standards. They put wrong pieces of granite together. They did end up resolving the issue but I wish I would have gone with the company I had used before.

This process was finished within days and I doubt that the other company you have used would have done anything. You may only find out if your dealing with a quality company if there is an issue.
