Fantastic.  When I purchased my house, the home inspector told me "you might need a french drain put in the back patio" for drainage.  He was so wrong.  Two years after buying the house and in the beginning stages of an interior remodel, a huge storm came through and over 3" of water came inside the house.  Every time it rained, I had to put towels around the kitchen and the patio door.  The last rain several months ago kept me up nightly for 4 days cleaning up.

Godbold Landscaping was a referral from several people who used their service.  I received 3 bids on my property to repair the drainage problem, take out the patio, put in a new fence and install a sprinkler system.  Prior to getting the bids, a storm hit in April and took out my 15' tree in the front.  Godbold Landscaping was somewhere in the middle in the way of price, but the reason I picked them was not only the referrals, but Mr. Godbold.  Jeff came over and walked the entire property with me.  He listened to my concerns and talked with me about what I wanted, and how he would do the remodel.

The work began the end of October and the patio poured a week ago.  Constant rains kept stalling the project.  The first to go up with the new fence, and that was done in one day.  The next was the entire backyard, patio, overgrown shrubs were removed in the backyard.  I am off on Mondays so I got to be home while Jeff's crew was here doing the work.  From the fence installers, Xtreme Fence, to Mr. Godbold's crew, I never saw any of these guys take more than a 30 minute break.  Not only did they work tirelessly, they answered my questions as we went along.  I was so impressed that they cleaned up every bit of debris, or mud that got on the sidewalk and driveway.

We have had rain since the installation finished, and it is nice to sleep through the night and not get up with the shop vac and towels.  Friends and a few neighbors have asked to look at the property and everyone has said what an impressive job and how the backyard looks 3x bigger now.  My pets are thrilled with being able to go outside, and running in the new grass.  And the new sprinkler system, rain and freeze sensor, are fantastic

I could not have been more pleased.  Jeff and his wife, Holli, are exceptionally nice.  No matter what email or phone call I made, I had an answer that day.  When I asked to have a portion of my back fence replaced, that was my neighbor's, Jeff got Xtreme Fence back out and they installed an area that is curved and looks fantastic. 

They installed new shrubs in the front, a tree, plants in the front beds, and I can't wait for Spring to see how it all looks when it is warm.

My thanks to Jeff, Holli, their fantastic crew, and to Xtreme Fencing for the fantastic job.  I could not imagine that the process would go so smoothly as this is the first big job on this house I contracted.  You and your wife and your crew and the contracted fence company were the most gracious and accommodating people.

Jeff is marvelous, I cannot say enough good things about him. His wife, Holly, usually mans the phone for him and she's very punctual about returning calls and letting you know when the crew will start, finish, etc. Jeff is excellent with regard to his grasp of all things related to landscaping. The masonry stone walls he built for us are awesome and quite artistic, following the contour of our front yard and curving for interest. His knowledge of different plants, outside lighting and irrigation is encyclopedic. I believe he could take on any landscape project and be successful. Additionally, he's punctual, professional and very easy to work with. He's imminently responsible, standing behind his work and fixing anything that his crew might have inadvertently broken. He takes the initiative to fix everything perfectly in a timely and extremely friendly manner. And his bid, including the electrical, was very reasonable, especially compared to another estimate we received. Jeff doesn't include extra work in his estimates to pump up his prices, he does what is necessary for maximum visual effect without trying to make more money out of customers. I'm extremely impressed with Jeff and wouldn't hesitate to use him for any of my landscape, outside lighting or irrigation needs. In a service area where it's difficult to find good people, he's truly a FIND!!!

Jeff Godbold's team was a pleasure to work with. They were punctual, friendly, and professional - always letting me know when obstacles arose and what the plan was to achieve the end result. I have received MANY complements on the way my property looks since having the work performed.

We like this company ...and their cooperation and services are good. Downside is that most of their crews speak mostly Spanish and communication at times can be difficult.
