First Restoration came out immediately to a**** the situation. Realizing that some of the water damage happened in an area that we had just remodeled and laid new carpet (less then a month)- they were extremely careful in placing their equipment and drilling holes to minimize the damage. They set fans and dehumidifiers around, checked them daily and understanding our fear of mold - explained the process and assured us that everything will be completely dry before they will pull any equipment. I can honestly say I hope to never have to use their services again- but if needed to- I would use them.

Someone recommended them to me. They came and they dealt with the insurance people and gave an estimate. First Restoration wouldn’t do roofing and so I had to deal with a separate contractor for that. The roofer got out there the next day and got it done and they did a beautiful job on the roof. After that First Restoration came in and did the work on walls. They had to move everything from the garage before doing the wall and ceiling. When they were moving the contents of the garage one of their contractors dropped my Sears Craftsman tool box and crushed one of the corners of it. This was one of the boxes that I have had for twenty five years as my wife had given it to me as an anniversary present. I told First Restoration that they had damaged it and they had to pay for my tool box. After that they submitted another bill which was over and above the estimate and said that they had done many other things than was not in the earlier estimate. It was completely bogus. Now there was another $3000 owed. In addition they placed a lien on our property and now we are in the middle of a lawsuit to have the lien removed. I would never recommend this company to anyone ever. The people in the office are rude and act like you are bothering them when you have a question. One lady in the office told us she spends most of her time putting liens on properties.

Update: July 27, 2012
We met with our attorney and James Farley along with his attorney thru a mediation process. This mediation cost each party $865 which Mr. Farley had to eventually pay for himself and us. He also had to pay all of our out of pocket attorney fees and court costs along with other damages. In total he paid us $12,750.00 and was ordered to remove the bogus lien from our home. It took a long time but it is finally settled.

Please let this be a warning to others who are considering using this company.

I had a water leak with severe potential damage to furniture and home. First Restoration saved my home. I would recommend them to everyone.
