Dream Construction

Dream Construction did a great job adding a screened in porch to the rear of the house. I didn't have a fully formed idea of what I wanted, but Joe had several good ideas that we incorporated into the structure. He communicated well, and was here when he said he would be. We are very pleased with the outcome.

Joe and his team did a great job removing an undersized load bearing beam in my home and installing a properly sized beam to replace it. Because the old beam had been sagging, installation of the new one caused some unforseen separation between the wall drywall and the ceiling. Joe and his team made sure to patch, texture, and paint all of the effected areas so it was totally buttoned up when they were done. Also, they had some issues with my garage door after the beam was installed, but Joe and his team went above and beyond to make sure the garage door sensors were fixed before they called the job complete. Overall, it was a job well done and I will consider hiring them again if I have another project come up.

The remodel took a little longer than expected but Joe is very meticulous and took his time with the installation of the new cabinets and we are glad he did, Joe also modified a cabinet drawer that wouldn’t close because of a valve on the stovetop that wasn’t part of the scope of the project and didn’t charge extra for that work. We would use him again.

Reached out to Joe to have sun room built into additional room for our house. Seemed like he could do everything we were requesting and within decent time frame (warned us it would take 3 weeks to receive our windows and about 3 weeks to build the room - had to coordinate between different professionals and we were fine with this - Signed contract in October and just now finished with room). When Joe first came out to look at the sun room he noticed the slab wasn't level and stated he could fix it. Prior to him putting in our flooring found out that nothing was done to fix the slope. He mentioned it was not in the budget and would cost thousands. We had Joe take back the flooring (was sitting in our dining room for about 3 months) and said we would have Lowe's come out and see if they can help. Lowe's did what they could but looking into the room you can tell there's and obvious slope. Also had issues with electrical work requested (not sure if due to how long the job was taking things mentioned were forgotten - had to get my electrician to come out and correct some electrical work).

Very well. Dream Construction was there within hours of the tornado that went through our property. They helped clean up and redesign our barn, garage, and repaired damage done to our home. Our barn and garage was completely rebuilt, Our roof and all windows had to be replaced due to damage. Our home was completely repainted back to its original glory. We could not be happier.

It was a long process because of the amount of stuff being done, but I can't say enough good things about this company. It was ABSOLUTELY beautifully done.

Dream Construction, Joe R and his team, were friendly, responsive, and knowledgable about the remodel. Permits were acquired for the work and Joe supervised the foundation leveling necessary to repair the old remodel. He helped us determine what we needed to make our house more energy efficient. His work has saved us hundreds of dollars in energy bills! Great experience.

We are so happy we found Dream Construction! I don’t usually write reviews but this one had to be written. The previous home owners had tacked on an addition to the back of our house before we bought it. In recent years the concrete and foundation of the addition began to crack, causing issues for the entire house. After reaching out to 4 companies for quotes, we ultimately chose Dream Construction to tear down the addition. With it being a safety concern, we had a tight timeline. Joe was able to get the ball rolling quickly and did what he could to make sure our timeline was met. He kept in communications with us and provided honest feedback every step of the way. Because the addition had clearly not been built correctly in the first place, there were a lot of unknowns with our project. Joe didn’t shy away from any of the challenges, managed our additional requests well and stayed within our budget. The safety of our dogs was a major concern before we started this project. It’s hard to keep a construction area clean but Joe and his crew did a wonderful job. While the work was happening there was minimal disruption to our daily lives. I can’t say enough great things about this company and their work. We needed a company who we could trust to do the work right. Dream Construction is definitely that company. They are very easy to work with and care about their customers. I highly recommend them! Joe is already working on a quote for our next job.

Joe Rogers and Dream Construction are wonderful. I interviewed several contractors who had no clue what the problem was, but were more than willing to start ripping my house apart. I even had one contractor raise his voice to me when I informed him I hired someone else. I also had several engineers look at the problem who were also either stumped or wrong. When Joe (Rogers) from Dream Construction came and looked around, he brought an engineer with him. They were the only ones that went into the attic and an upstairs bedroom to look at the roof framing and what was load bearing. They provided me with engineering drawings and permits were pulled within about a week. It was amazing how fast the framing work was completed. Everyone on the crew was friendly, courteous and answered all of my questions. They floated the floor upstairs so that it’s level. The painting and finish work were great. I was so happy with the work that was going on I also had Joe redo my laundry room. I was able to text Joe and receive immediate responses! I always knew when the workers were going to show up - there were never any surprises. Joe is also a terrific human being; he even took my trash to the curb for me because I recently had surgery! I will definitely hire him again!

I had a house fire which left a partially demoed structure that I wanted to salvage and build onto. This was a special construction project that I knew could be done, but I was getting a lot of push-back in terms of feasibility. The structural foundation was still intact, but creating the finished product was a bit of a challenge. I talked to at least a dozen contractors who either over-bid or who did not have the expertise to address the special challenges of the project. I finally met Joe from Dream Construction on a bid-walk, and I knew right away that this was the contractor to handle the project. I pointed out some of what other contractors saw as issues that could not be worked with, but on the bid-walk Joe readily provided several viable solutions beyond my study with structural engineers and architects I talked to to address the special issues of my project. The more I got to know Joe, the more I specifically wanted his firm to build my house. He and his family are outstanding people who accept nothing but the best quality of a job well done. This came across to me as he assisted me in developing the scope of work for my project to make more efficient and better quality changes to what I had already drawn up. On this particular project I contracted with Joe to construct a new roof, build out the entire interior, a deck, an outdoor shower, and other special features. It would take too many words for a brief review to express how pleased I am with the finished products of his work. His subcontractors did excellent work as well, and the input he provided up front in the planning phases of the project proved their merit at the completion of the project. I was lucky to obtain the high level quality for such a fair and reasonable price, and I feel blessed to have run into him to take on my project. I highly recommend Dream Construction for any construction job. Very talented.

We hired Dream Construction for their experience and knowledge about garages and safety. There were a lot of cracks on the bottom walls of our garage where pests, dirt/dust were getting in. We also had some stains on the ceiling. They did a great job patching it all up and painting the walls. Our garage now looks brand new!

These folks are fantastic. Professional, courteous, punctual and performed quality work. Would hire them again!

Everything looks just beautiful! Joe and his team did a excellent job. They are very skilled at what they do. I have an older house and finding the exact bricks to add to the garage was a nightmare. We finally switched to stone and I love the results!! Joe went out of his way may times to make sure everything matched and looked great. I have received many compliments on the finished product. If you are looking for an honest, hard working team, Dream Construction is the one. I am already working with them on my next project.... the kitchen.

Overall, the experience was very positive. They were able to take my designs I had in my head and translate them on paper and in reality. There were some hiccups along the way, but they were always handled with a professional attitude. We and our pets lived in the house during the remodel and they were always respectful of us, our belongings, and our pets. They worked around us and our schedules without complaint. Before and after pictures of the kitchen and laundry as well a picture of the new bath are attached. Although the kitchen was not completely finished at the time the picture was taken.

The best qualities about Joe are that he is honest, works with high integrity, follows through on his word and is committed to quality work. He was flexible with our timelines to meet some specific needs. Our backyard neighbors are jealous of the work Joe did on the patio cover and we are enjoying our back yard more than ever.

Joe was very professional. He contacted me several times throughout the project and was always very courteous.
Each day he was there he always left the area nice and clean. The project came in exactly as he quoted and in a timely manner. I would definitely use him again.

After Joe and DREAM Construction carefully assessed the multiple issues with our deck, he took the time to present several options to my husband and I.  He and his team began by removing the existing structure -- fast and clean are the two words I would use to describe that process!  The new deck is amazing -- we have a true backyard oasis now thanks to Joe and DREAM Construction.  The removal of the old door and installation of the new one was an equally great process.  Clean, fast, and once again, he presented us with some options, and then gave us the time to review and consider our choice.  We now have a safe and secure door with a special lock.  I would highly recommend (and have!) Joe Rogers and DREAM Construction to anyone.  He is fair, reliable, and only hires the most professional and respectful workers to assist with projects.  I can't imagine letting anyone else work on or around our home.  The service we've received has always been amazing, and incredibly cost effective.

It went very smoothly. It took four work days, exactly what was estimated. I'm very happy with the quality of the workmanship and materials.

Joe Rogers of Dream Construction did a complete renovation of our home in Burleson.  He came in on budget - and we were very pleased with how things came out.  His installation work on the difficult kitchen we ordered from IKEA was ingenious and well done.    

Joe?s subcontractors were terrific, especially the painters, Tom X and his crew.

Joe was a pleasure to work with.  He was responsive (and patient!) - accommodating every change, request and wrinkle we threw at him.  If you are looking for a contractor and remodeler you can trust, look no further.

All work went very well, except for a five week delay on the outside work due to abnormal spring rains. Joe worked with us on scheduling when we were here (we're retired but busy). After four months we consider Joe (and his family) friends. Honest, forthright and descent people. His crew was also excellent.

Overall, the experience was a good one. This was our first time dealing with a contractor and based on others' experiences with other contractors, were prepared for the worst. However, we are very happy with the finished product and Joe was very professional in his suggestions and really wanting to do things the right way. After receiving the original estimate, there were several details left out that we notified Joe about, but we never received an updated estimate. The final project cost ended up being close to double what the original estimate was. We selected tile from the store that Joe suggested to us, and it was very convenient since Joe was able to pick it up and we did not have to worry about that.  Originally, he stated that this would be a 2-3 day job, beginning on a Thursday. He called and said he could not start until the following Monday. On Monday, he only dropped off supplies, no work was done. When the work was started on Tuesday, a random door and brick wall were discovered behind the paneling being torn out. While these things could have been left as is, Joe wanted us to benefit from the few inches of room that we gained by tearing out the brick wall. Tearing out the unexpected brick wall added time and expense to the project;  however, we know it was done correctly. When the carpet was torn out, an old vinyl tile floor was discovered that was completely glued down. This added additional time. During Joe's first visit to the house, he did not lift up the carpet to see what was underneath so this was a surprise to everyone. Since the tearing up of this vinyl took a whole day, this again delayed the process. No work was done the following day. Two workers came on Saturday and worked for about 14 hours. When they left, they said someone might come back on Sunday, but Joe said he would not be there and would see us Monday. Monday came & went with no one working or calling. Work resumed on Tuesday, when Joe discovered some faulty wiring done by the previous homeowners. He spent a lot of time fixing this, again, so things were done the right way. He could have kept his mouth shut and we would never have been the wiser. I feel much safer in my home now, thanks to Joe!  More supplies needed to be ordered & would not be in until Thursday, so no work was done Wednesday. The work was finally completed that Friday, making it a two week project. I understand that there were unexpected problems that came up and I even get that other projects are going on simultaneously, but the lack of communication was frustrating. We had the luxury of one of us being able to work from home, but had we needed to take off of work for this, there would have been no excuse  for not showing up with no explanation. Up until the last few days, we were still reminding them of small details that needed to be done.  The room being worked on had been a slab addition to a pier & beam house, so there were 2 steps down into this room. At Joe's wonderful suggestion, we were able to get rid of the bottom step and just have one step coming down. Since the step was originally carpet, I was not sure what to do with it now, since it leads fromthe original wood floor into this now tiled room. Joe once again had a great suggestion about just making it a one-piece oak step, stained to match the original floor. When this step was installed, it did not fully cover part of the wood floor that was never refinished. We were able to actually lift up this step as the nails used were very short. We just moved it back a bit so that it covers the unsightly part of the floor and it looks just fine. We will definitely be calling Joe again for future projects!

Joe Rogers came out the day after I called him. He looked at the sagging 2x12s in the garage ceiling and said they needed more support. There was a bedroom above the garage  I felt comfortable with Joe and he had experience with these type of problems before. He sent an engineer out to size new beams and draw up plans for the repair. Within a couple of days he had jacked up the sagging 2x12s, installed the new support beams and replaced the drywall. Joe sent someone out to textured and paint the ceiling. He gave me a copy of the engineer's drawings.The repair looks great and I would definitely call him again.
