They had the best price around and were very prompt. They explained things to me without "talking down" to me. I appreciate that.

Costco occasionally sends out Passport to Savings, which are glorified coupon books for their warehouses. One of the most important things about this book is if it lists a sale on tires – a frequent event. Buying tires at Costco is typically a little higher than a straight purchase from TireRack.com but after you factor in installation and disposal of old tires (at around $20 total per tire), many times the higher price is justified for the perks.
The best part to me was probably that Costco has a Lifetime Warranty Replacement – If for any reason your tire goes flat, Costco will attempt to repair the tire or give you credit for the percentage of tread that remains. If it goes flat and the tire is pretty close to full tread, they just replace it for free.
They also have Lifetime Rotation and Balancing – If you figure a rotation and balance at around $15, you can actually stop being a cheapskate and rotate your tires on schedule. The only pain is waiting for the service to be completed, which is quick if you arrive early morning on a weekday.
Inflation with Nitrogen – They use nitrogen which is supposed to keep pressure better than air with changing temperatures. It’s supposed to also stay inflated better. I don’t necessarily believe the hype but whatever. They also inflate to optimal pressures when they rotate and balance.
If you decide to use Costco, call ahead to make sure the tires are in stock. If they aren’t, all you need is your membership card and a deposit and they will order the tires in. Shipping is free and they usually arrive within seven days. If you don’t happen to have the coupon, they have copies at the register and will probably scan it for you since, in theory since you are a Costco cardholder, you should’ve received it anyway (just tell them you forgot it).

I tried on about two dozen pair of glasses, finally setting on one pair. After having to wait a while for help, one of the Costco employees was able to help me locate the item number and give me a total cost estimate. This helped me plan for the expense. He was very nice and did not give me a hard time about not wanting to buy the glasses right away.

I usually take digital pictures; however, I needed to use up some film that I had for my 35 mm camera. I had a 36 exposure roll and got 4 x 6 single prints. I dropped off the film and it was ready within the hour. The color and quality of the photos were amazing. I like the glossy paper they use for photo printing. They also give you an index proof sheet at no extra charge.

We had taken some recent photos and wanted to get them developed. We just upload them online at costco.com and then pick them up hours later. They usually take three hours or less to be ready. You don't have to wait in line at the front desk either, you can just check out right at the Photo Shop.

The staff at the Costco Tire Center are very professional and friendly. They go out of their way to answer any questions that I may have had. They offer you low price options if you cannot afford the one they suggest. They also air up all their tires with nitrogen which helps with the performance of the vehicle. I was very satisfied with the product and service rendered.
