I asked him to call me before they did any repairs, gave them my password and phone number and they called me in about an hour.  They called about an hour later and explained it would be $55 to get the key pad and the mouse working again.  I told them I would have to wait until this weekend to have the work done. 

I noticed they had a computer for sale and I let him know I would buy it because it was a smaller computer and I thought it would be a better fit for me.  I asked him some more details about the computer and let him know when I came back to get my computer fixed on Saturday I would also purchase that computer.  When I went back Saturday I dropped my computer back and the computer I wanted to buy was still there.  When I went back in about an hour to pick up my computer I tested it as I was paying and noticed the mouse did work but the key pad was still not responsive.  I let him know that the key pad was still not functioning and he looked at it again.  He went to the back to see if he had another keyboard but did not and stated he would have to order a keyboard and it would be an additional $25.00. 

I let him know he told me he would fix the issues for $55 and he said that was not true.  I reiterated to him what we had discussed previously and he kept stating that is not what he said.  I decided to not buy that other computer from him as I was worried about his honesty. 

I saw an ad for another company in the Sunday paper advertising a new computer for the same price he tried to sell me the used one for.  I went to the store today and let them know I was going to call the BBB because of the attempt at charging me more for my computer repairs and the fact they tried to sell me a used computer for the same price new ones are sold for.  His wife basically told me she wasn't worried about my complaint. 

I am very pleased!

My computer was crashing intermittently for weeks (I had been trouble shooting it myself). Dion, the technician, diagnosed the computer and found that the power supply had to be replaced. It was very convenient to replace the power supply since Fry's was just across the street. Dion also fixed my operating system issues. The other computer repair services I've tried in the past took longer and charged more. Not only was the result a stable and faster computer for a reasonable price, but Dion explained everything well and provided a very pleasant customer experience. I could tell that other customers in the store liked and trusted him too. His politeness to customers may take away his trouble shooting time, so his time estimates may be a little optimistic. Just give him enough time. My wife and I are now very happy with our fast and reliable desktop, thanks to Dion. Ben Soedjono
