Came and unlocked my husbands van at 11 pm. Came very quickly set out all his tools and was able to get in the van in minutes. Extremely nice and definitely knew what he was doing. Would use again for sure

We had checked on prices with several locksmiths, and his prices were the lowest. Given our experience with Carl, it was an excellent value. When he arrived and looked at all the door locks, he discovered that there were two different brands of locks and they could not all be rekeyed to have only one key. Carl started working on some of the locks while I ran up to Lowe's to get several new door handles and deadbolt locks so that all would be the same. To save some cost, he let me install the new hardware while he rekeyed other locks. By the time he had finished, which took 3 hours to rekey 12 locks, all looks worked with just one key and we had several nicer looking new doorknobs and locks. I appreciated Carl's flexibility in this situation. I give him an A+.

Carl was great. He cut and programmed a key for my car for an awesome price. He was super friendly, got the job done quickly, and knew his stuff. Communication was smooth with him and it was easy to make an appointment. I would definitely use his services again.

On Thursday night, 7/25/13, as I was leaving home, my door handle fell off into my hand. I had not completely closed the door yet, so I pushed the door open and the door handle on the inside fell on the floor. This situation has never happened to me before, so my 1st thought was that something was wrong with the door handles and lock. I checked Angie's list and found Carl's Lock and Key with later hours (it was well after 9:00pm by now) and I called. He said he'd probably be able to help me and I decided to wait til the morning for him to come out. I checked both Home Depot and Lowe's and Home Depot was closed and Lowe's would be closing before I could get there. Carl came Friday morning and installed new door handles and showed me what happened to the ones I had. He was very professional and friendly and explained everything to me and didn't mind my questions. I will definitely use him again.

Carl checked locks repeatedly and each new key to make sure there were no problems. Also made sure new keys worked on garage door.

I had to rekey six (6) locks in my home. I wasn't even sure if i had the key to one of the deadbolts. Having never rekeyed any locks before or even needing a locksmith, I looked to Angie's List to help me find a reputable locksmith. Carl's Lock and Key had great reviews, was close to my home, had been in business for many years with a website I could review and on Angie's List since 2004. I called Carl and he agreed to come over the next day to rekey the locks -- even though it was the day before Thanksgiving. During the conversation, Carl gave me an estimate for the cost of rekeying that I thought was very reasonable. Carl showed up promptly as scheduled the next day and got to work immediately. He was very pleasant (but not too chatty) and concentrated on the work at hand. The one deadbolt that had no key turned out to be a and quot;piece of cakeand quot; for Carl. He was able to correct the problem and rekey the lock in short order. I was extremely happy with the experience and would recommend Carl's Lock and Key to anyone requiring the service of an excellent locksmith. I was also happy to see that Carl accepts credit *and* debit cards; I would definitely use Carl's Lock and Key again. Thank you Carl!

I recently purchased a new home and wanted the locks re-keyed and replace the patio lock with a double key. I called Carl and described my situation and he recommended that I purchase the new lock from a hardware store prior to his arrival as he did not carry the type of finish I wanted. He quoted the price to re-key each lock (4) over the phone and the actual price was as estimated. Since I was replacing a lock with another brand, he had to chip away at the frame to ensure the lock secured appropriately. All locks were keyed to the same key and works like a charm. Carl is very courteous, works efficiently and I would certainly use his services again.

I called Carl's Lock and Key. They contacted the resident and set up a time. They rekeyed all the locks and sent me 2 spare keys. I paid them and the job was done.

My daughter was locked out of her car. She called me and I consulted Angies List. She called Carl's and met him at her car. He unlicked the car and was done. Simple, economical, and efficient.

During a whole house remodel, new locks on five doors became inoperable. I did not know what to do,because someone had to be at the house at all times because of some of the doors that would not lock. I called Carl, and explained the situation. He came promptly and explained why the messed up locks would have to be replaced and the previous ones returned (something relating to new lock technology). I asked if he would help me select new knobs and locks which he did promptly. He installed all the hardware so that it works perfectly and to our specifications. He was attentive throughout, tried to think of ways to save us money, dedicated to the task, and solved a couple of vexing problems. In short, professional, prompt, trustworthy (you don't want just anybody learning about the access to your home), and, clearly enjoys his work. The job took over two hours. Highly recommended.

Carl showed up and began work trying to pick the lock to my roll top desk from China. He spent at least an hour trying to get it open before we gave up. I than had him work on filing cabinets I had also misplaced keys to. He quickly got into the file and made me a spare key. Since this time I also used him to rekey a rental for me and he was punctual and affordable.

Overall, I had a great experience with him. He was responsive, punctual and professional. I'll use his services in the future.

The locksmith also rekeyed my car and replaced the broken lock. He was very good. He came quickly and was very prompt. He did a good job with guaranteed price. He comes within a couple of hours, when you call him. I will absolutely use him again in the future.

The work went very well, and he showed up on time. I called, and he was here within an hour. He was very knowledgeable, and he said next time I didn't need to replace the whole lock. He could just replace the inner locking.
