Great job. Spent extra time to deep clean problem areas.

We contacted this company on a Monday based on good reviews here on
Angie's List and scheduled carpet cleaning on our and quot;new to usand quot; home that
we would be moving into on Saturday. We scheduled for Friday morning at
10:00. We were quoted a fee of $99 on the phone, even after my husband
inquired about if there would be any additional hidden costs. So
Friday morning comes and Javier calls us to see if he could come early.
We explain that we cannot because we are staying at a family member's
house 45 minutes away and needed to keep the 10:00 appointment. We rush
to get our 4 kids ready and to the house only for Javier to be 45
minutes late. We called at 10:25 and only then did he let us know that
he was running behind. Once he arrived he explained to my husband that
he would do a deep clean and that the charges would be $135, even though
he originally quoted us a fee of $99. He sets about his work and
finishes at 12:30. He leaves water all over our wood and concrete
floors and only cleans it up after we ask him to do so. He then says he
only takes cash or check and it's $150 with tax. The side of his
cleaning van said he cleans an entire 2 story house for $135 and we only
had him clean 3 bedrooms and stairs. And tax would have only been $11,
not an additional $15. I was so frustrated that AGAIN the price
changed, but the carpets were clean and we were moving in the next day
so I had limited options. We left the house with the A/C running and
fans blowing. You can imagine my shock when we arrive at 8:30 the next
morning with 2 huge moving trucks and a dozen people to help us move in
only to find that the carpets are STILL WET! After almost 24 hours! I
have never, ever had carpets not dry after a couple of hours of cleaning
them. We were forced to pile all our stuff in 2 rooms and the garage
even though we had people ready and willing to get us all moved in. Our
house is a split level so when you enter, you either go up or down
stairs and the stairs were still wet and we had no way to avoid trudging
over them 100 times as we moved stuff in. You can imagine how wet
carpeted stairs will look after such a thing. Disgusting! I
immediately called the company to ask for someone to come out with fans
to get the carpets dry, still not understanding why they were still wet
in the first place. When I explained our dilemma, the only thing Javier
would say is to turn on the fans and open the windows. That was his
solution. He was too busy to come out or to send someone out until the
very end of the day. So around 5pm Javier shows up with one fan. ONE
FAN! I couldn't believe it. I told him at this point I just wanted my
money back because I was going to have to call another company out to
re-clean the carpets again. All he would say is that the carpets were
clean when he left. He said this over and over again. Yes, they were
clean but they were still wet more than 24 hours later at this point
which was unacceptable. And now they were worse than they were to begin
with. He refused to give me my money back and was rude and
argumentative. So if you want clean WET carpet, then this is the guy to
call. If not, look somewhere else!

Javier was very friendly and courteous. He called to confirm the appointment the day before. He was an hour late to the house and did not call to let me know. I will say that the carpets look nice. Unfortunately, the guarantee that they would be dry and quot;in one hourand quot; has NOT been the case. The carpets were SO wet, I have had to keep my furniture off of them and have had to buy fans to try to get them to dry. I turned on all the ceiling fans and cranked up the A/C to get the air flowing as well. After three days, they are still damp and the house smells of mildew. This morning I called a professional water damage repair service to come out and dry the carpets before it is too late. As I said, a very nice, respectful and courteous gentleman, but the the job is going to end up costing me three times what it should. Very disappointing.

They have done work for us several times. The owner does the work himself, and he stands by what he does.

Carpets looked OK immediately after cleaning, but when they dried the old spots reappeared. Also, the drying process took a long time. The next morning the carpets were still damp. I called to explain the problem, and was given a quote of another $225 to come back and do some kind of different treatment. That estimate, which I declined, was later lowered to $150, which still seemed excessive given the result of the first cleaning. I called this company because I had had good luck in the past. Only later did i realize that I had called a different company with a name that was very close to the other. The other company used a dry extraction method which gave a good result. I caution all prospective customers to make sure you are calling the correct company. My experience with the other company was good. This one not so good.

They are very good and respectful. The owner likes to do it his way so he wants to be left alone to do his job; he does not want any help. I will use them again in the future.

From the moment I called the receptionist to the fellow who called me back - which was the owner - I thought it was pretty good. He himself came and did the work. He was very thorough and clearly knew what he was doing. He was efficient. I thought he did a great job.

I think it was their overall grade and their feedback from other people that caught my eye. They do a great job and are very punctual. The guy is very professional. They are a little expensive but they do a good job.

The chemicals they used were safer than a lot of other people used. They were much more non-toxic which is what we were looking for. The carpet was all nice and clean. They weren’t the cheapest but they were reasonable.

They did a fantastic job! The price was about half of another company I checked. Completed job while I was out of town and did a superb job. I would recommend him to anyone and will have him back out to do this again.

Everything went really good with the carpet cleaning. Burgess did a very good job. They were very professional. I had a dry service done so I did not have to worry about my carpets drying. They said that they would move furniture but I did not have them do that. I do recall the charge being very reasonable.
