We carry a complete line of books, notions, accessories, stabilizers, threads and parts. We also have a wonderful knowledgeable staff of instructors and technicians to help you with your needs. We have experienced, certified technicians who are factory authorized to repair your serger, sewing, embroidery or quilting machine without your machine ever leaving our store . . . The new Arlington Sewing Machine Repair and Service location is in South Arlington, at 2523 Early Bird Dr. 76001. Call them in advance to set an appointment at 817-538-9127. They work on all types of home and industrial machines. On $50 per repair unless you need parts.

I have been dealing with Arlington Sewing for 9 years.  Everyone at the store is helpful, knowledgible and eager ti help.  They sell a variety of machines and are familiar with the pros and cons of each and so can assist in finding the right machine for what you want to do.  And when you choose a machine, they are there to teach and assist you in learning to use your machine to the fullest..  Repair services are prompt and complete.  I have never had to take a machine back because it wasn't fixed properly.

So far it's sewing really good; it's doing real good but I think Arlington Sewing Machine charged me way too much because I have called a couple of other places and they said they would do it for $90 while they charged us $175. A lot of it was our fault, we should have had the price given directly before we let them do the work, it was kind of our fault for not checking what they were going to charge. My sewing machine is a Bernina and of course there are only a few places that sell Berninas and they do not sell them. They did a good job in adjusting it and everything. There was one person who had sent in a report on the Arlington Sewing Machine and they said that they thought they did a good job and all that so that's why we went down there. We were kind of unhappy on what they charged. They had it ready when they said they would. I will not use them again on my remaining sewing machine.

I took my sewing machine in for repairs thinking I needed a new machine.  I did not - it was just very dirty.  While there, I asked about sergers and was very excited to hear about one that was in the price range I wanted to spend.  The gentleman took time with me to show me how they worked, tell me there is a free, one time class that comes with the serger and then explain that there are additional classes for a reasonable rate.  He explained to me how quickly my projects would take with a serger.  One thing I noticed about this shop, and this was my first time going there, was the friendliness about the store...everyone seemed like family, and it was a warm, inviting place to shop.  I was very happy - and being someone who only knows how to sew in a straight line, and very intimidated by most places, this place made me feel right at home.
