My garage door opener was stuck halfway down - would shut or open completely.   I was about to go out of town for the weekend and was in a hurry to get it fixed for security reasons.  Alamo had been recommended  by a friend.  When I contacted them  they were able to get me scheduled within two hours.  The technician, Michael, quickly identified the problem with my 15-year old garage door opener and was able to replace it in less than an hour.  He was also kind enough to help me sync the new garage door opener to my car. He knew what he was doing and completed the job quickly and efficiently.   I will definitely use Alamo again and refer them to others.

The technician, Michael, could not have been better. One could see that he  knew exactly what to check and what to do. One try, and he had the automatic door down properly, with a manual intervention. Subsequently, he examined all the moving parts, lubricated, adjusted tension on the spring, and checked other parts of the system. When I asked, Michael explained, easily and clearly, what he was doing and why. Nice young man, as well as highly skilled.
As he was packing up, Michael gave me the partly-empty can of lubricant and told me that it would be wise to spray the big spring and the side joints about once a month, as a preventive maintenance step.
All in all, from the original scheduling phone call, when the lady talked me through attempting to re-set the mechanism by holding down the button instead of just pressing once, in case the service wasn't really needed, to making the appointment, keeping the appointment, doing perfect work, and taking time for customer teaching, these are the folks to ask for help. In my opinion, the best.

The repairman arrived on time, was very informative and professional.  It only took 30 minutes to add two new springs to our garage door.  He also recommended that we have our garage door serviced once a year.  We will definitely use Alamo Garage Door company to service our garage door next year.  I highly recommend this company.

The technician did not arrive within the window I was given at the time I made my appointment.  When I called to find out if I was still on the schedule, I was told that they were short a man and that I would be called when the tech was on his way.  I should have been called when it became known that the planned appts would be shifted.  He did arrive at the later time I was promised.  He was friendly, quick and knowledgeable and cleaned up after himself.  Also, the "all-in" price I was quoted when I made the appointment did not include the trip charge and taxes.

I got an appointment easily and the service technician, John, was on time.  He told me what would be needed to complete the job and how much it would cost.  John got to work right away and when finished he cleaned up the garage area.  Everyone I spoke to at Alamo was friendly and professional. 

My experience was okay.  The deal was a little misleading.  There was one technician here doing the work and he ended up not being able to do the work. I had no problems with scheduling.

Scheduled an appointment and arrived on a Saturday within two hours of call.  Quickly assessed the problem and made the repair within 20 minutes.

Our garage door would not open and we had a doctor's appointment( my husband had a leg infection). I called Alamo. They were there in less than 10 minutes, raised the garage door, backed the cars out of the garage, told me what was wrong, what it would cost, and we left and kept our appointment. I explained our situation to the Alamo representative and I would
pay him when I returned. When we got home, garage door worked perfectly and I was one happy lady.... Thank you Alamo!

Service was great. My wife said the technician was very polite and professional.

The job was done effectively and efficiently by JOhn and within the time he originally estimated. It was really impressive that he came in ready for eventualities so the job could be completed on the spot. Very professional and polite. We hope the door will continue to operate like this for good.
