The kid that towed the car did not take any pictures, prior to towing the vehicle.  They're supposed to take pictures of all sides of the vehicle prior to towing.  I went up to the Dodge dealership and there was $3,000.00 worth of damage done to the rear quarter of the Jeep, that was not previously there.  They contracted the towing out to Austin Towing.  I called AAA and they told me to contact Austin Towing.  They are not willing to do anything for me.

I visited with the travel adviser at the AAA office to schedule my trip itinerary on a 2 week trip across the south from Texas to Mississippi to S. Carolina and back through N. Carolina and Tennessee. She helped me plan for all the details from gas usage to events and places to stay. The maps provided were marked with the routes along the way and were provided (because of membership) without charge. I was able to get discounted tickets and lodging through AAA which helped streamline things once we got to each location. I love working with AAA and will be going into their offices this week to get quotes on auto and homeowners insurance.

I feel I have had a dispute since January 29th for a bill that they continue to send to me to pay for something that should be covered on our AAA policy. I have made numerous calls and been given the run around and when I have spoken to a few representatives, they now sent a letter stating I was nearing my limit and they stated the letter had been sent and I received it about a week after that conversation. My main complaint now is that every time I contact them, I am getting a run around and there is nothing centralized. You can call one person and get told something and then you call another person and they put a blame on the other about not being trained or that there is no way someone would have said that to you. This has continued to happen to me since the 29th of January. Now they have canceled my insurance services with them which they should not do during a dispute of unpaid towing charges which should have been able to be used on my husbands share of the insurance policy, according to some people. They will not talk with me at all now since they state I am not the primary person on the account, and they have known this all along since I have been the one calling since January 29th, 2009. The funniest excuse is that in March they claimed that they cannot now allow my husbands tows to be used by me since they have allowed in other cases with other family members tows to be used by other families and now they are keeping track of the tows with individual family members. They refuse transferability now since this has happened in the past. After personal use of this service one year in a decade, I could have put the $125 into an escrow account and paid for the towing service from this account over the decades of paying for this service.

I was at a shopping center in the heat of summer when I locked my keys, my purse and my cell phone in my running car. I called AAA roadside assistance from a retail store and they collected my information and gave me an estimate of 30 minutes to an hour until a locksmith arrived. The locksmith arrived within 45 minutes and had my car unlocked in minutes. He was very friendly and I was driving away in my car less than 5 minutes after the locksmith arrived. I have used AAA roadside assistance many times for towing and jump starts and they always meet my expectations. We receive surveys in the mail after every incident asking us about the quality of service we received. You can also stop by AAA retail locations and pick up free maps or get free trip planning assistance. I highly recommend the AAA membership.

My car would not start in the morning at my house. I have a AAA Plus membership and called them around 8am. They asked me for my location and car description and said a truck would arrive within 45 minutes to assist me. They arrived about 25 minutes later and were able to jump start my car with one of the handheld jumpstart kits. I was very pleased with how fast they arrived at my house. I have used AAA in the past to tow cars to auto shops and the service has been excellent each time. I pay approximately $120 a year for the AAA Plus membership (including an additional adult add-on) which includes up to 4, 100-mile tows a year, free jumpstarts or emergency gas delivery and free travel books and maps at AAA store fronts. The membership is tied to the person and not the car. So, if you are riding with a friend and they have car trouble, you can call AAA for assistance. You must be present and able to provide your AAA card and driver's license for AAA to provide service.

THE SERVICEMAN WAS VERY POLITE. HE CAME BEFORE HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE. I RECEIVED A COURTEOUS CALL LETTING ME KNOW HE WAS ON HIS WAY, AND A SECOND CALL LATER ASKING ME IF MY EXPERIENCE WAS ACCEPTABLE. THERE WAS NO COST TO ME FOR WORK PERFORMED UNDER AAA COVERAGE.
