Weed Man Of North DFW

Weedman killed my lawn in 1st application and caused over $100 in damages to the fresh lawn soil and bermuda seeds, and they had the nerve to bill for their service. Avoid them at all costs, at the least the company from Argyle. TX.

I spoke to three employees over the process of deciding and getting my lawn treated. All of them were very informative and helpful and taught me a lot about lawns in North Texas (I am a new resident).

Very crisp and professional

I almost never write a negative review but because my experience was as bad as it was I felt compelled to write a review in an effort to help others not make the same mistake I did by choosing this company. The salesman that I talked to after receiving a mailer was named Troy; who was very knowledgeable and all-around friendly. I went ahead and scheduled service for grassy weeds which happened a couple of weeks later. That individual (not Troy) came out and explained to me that I had weeds that simply could not be treated and it would take many many applications (he even suggested I consider getting a new lawn). Once he began spraying my backyard for weeds I saw with my own eyes that he spent exactly two minutes in my .25 acre back yard literally skipping huge areas...after he left I called the company about my experience and they said I would have to talk with Troy. After playing phone tag I finally got to speak with Troy but as I walked him through my experience, he seemed to not believe me. He refused to take any responsibility for his service technician and said I needed to pay in full or I would be sent collections. I plan on paying the bill but since I was basically cheated out of money I am writing this review and plan on also notifying the BBB and posting three other reviews elsewhere. -This is for North DFW Weedman USA

Use to do a pretty good job but they have been going downhill as of late... perhaps cutting corners or hiring unqualified technicians. My yard looked terrible this spring... lots of weeds and bare spots. It looks worse than it did 20 years ago.

Weed Man made extra effort to communicate with me personally prior to being hired. Other companies relied on electronic communication and I preferred the Weed Man approach.

Since Weed Man has only placed one application of weed killer on our yard, I can only judge from what has occurred so far. After a couple of visits throughout the year, I will have a better opinion about the service.

Prompt and friendly with quote and follow up call. They were at my house within a few days to handle my first treatment. I love the ease of their online account management.

Received a email quote within minutes for weed control. Price was good, he called and went over everything with me. Approved and was out to start within few days. I like the easy payments with online account!

As of today, the one main reason for the call to them was to rid lawn of ONE specific weed taking over. As of today it is still the same. Have noticed no change in the reduction of the weed.
