Texas Prime Plumbing

In 2018 I hired a design contractor to do a complete kitchen remodel and Todd was brought in to handle the plumbing for the project which includeed sink, faucet and garbage disposal replacement. Everything still works great two years later and there were no issues. In 2021 I hired a different contractor to do a bathroom remodel and ran into a number of issues that the contractor failed to resolve after multiple attempts After weeks of no resolution I called in Todd. He was a ble to resolve a leak on a new sink install in a single attempt and he also corrected a poor install on a new shower head and resolved water pressure and water temperature issues. He also replaced a broken o-ring on a new water spigot install that was deep in the brick wall and causing a leak. When someone handles the little things with care and get its it right the first time, you can be sure I would trust him with the bigger things. On time, professional, and reasonable.

They sent out a technician who seemed knowledgeable. He needed a 1/4 in tube or pipe to fix the humidifier so it could be turned off rather than terminated. He said it was not something they generally carried so he gave me the option of running to the store to get it (that would have been on the hourly rate). So instead, he terminated the faucet completely and replaced and sealed the pipe. They charged me their hourly rate of $132.

When we first called and spoke with the company about replacing the flange and asked what the cost would be, we were quoted much less than we were charged.
We had already moved the toilet and readied the area for the repair when the plumbers arrived . Two plumbers came in and replaced the flange. However, they did not complete the job of setting the toilet, they only told us how to put concrete in around the flange and left. We actually completed the task ourselves.

Showed up earlier than expected to start the job which was great since the water heater was unusable. All work was completeted on time and professionally. Have had previous experience with this company, over severalyears, and have always been completely satisfied.

The day I was moving into this residence I noticed a big puddle where the refrigerator use to be. I realized quickly that the previous owner had cut the copper line going to their fridge when they moved and didn't shut off the water. So then I realized there was not a shut off valve under the sink... I had to shut the water off at the street. I called Texas Prime Plumbing and they came out the next day and replaced the line to the fridge and added two shut off valves under the sink. These guys are great... they are always on time and do great work at a very affordable price.

Have no problem with services other than the water heater vent. The vent disconnect resulted from a recent roof replacement. I thought it would just take the addition of an and quot;elbowand quot; to get the outlet pipe and heater connected, but apparently not. My dissatisfaction is with the use of metal tape on the top side of vent. Don't think that stuff is meant for exposed locations. Plus it doesn't look good.
The two man crew arrived 15 mins. after appointed time. Took them an hour and 45 mins. to do work. One, who identified himself as business owner, spent too much time on phone.

They dispatched two plumbers, who worked quickly and efficiently to make the requested repairs. The total bill was at the hourly rate quoted, and the length of time it took for completion was about 25% less than initially estimated. They wore protective shoe covers and cleaned up all areas after their work was complete, answered all of my questions and had the right tools and parts available to do requested repairs.

This company is great. My parents have used them for thirty years and I am thinking I will be a long term customer as well. They are fast to get to you and they are very accommodating. Furthermore their prices are very low compared to what other places ask for these days.
