Months after reroofing, I found both water heater exhaust vents completely dislodged, pumping CO gas into my attic—a life-threatening hazard Simon later admitted knowing about yet failed to disclose. We allowed him to "repair" it, then he conveniently omitted photos of the botched repair when trying to close the permit with the city. After the city confronted him about missing photos, he submitted one, omitting the worst one. This prompted permitting to want to see it in person, and they said it's UNSAFE. We also found a vent misaligned, uncaulked bolts+nails, unpainted caulk visible from street, dish cable left flapping in the wind, and 4 vents LEAKING after he brushed off complaints of light showing through. No ownership, just deflection. He also kept asking that I get on the roof with him. We started with trust/patience until he showed disregard for my family's safety, disregard for our concerns, and hiding issues from the city. We paid $25k for the pleasure of this experience.

hail damage, called, got quote, came and fixed

We filed an insurance claim after our roof was damaged in a June 2011 hail storm. We chose Shellis Roofing to give us an estimate and they did the work after working with our insurance on the claim. Everything went very smoothy and the representative and the workers were all very professional. Roof looks great...no problems...very satisfied.

I contacted SImon regarding an estimate shortly after the damage was incurred. He returned my call quickly, set up an appointment, and came out to give me a bid. Upon deciding to have Shellis Roofing replace my roof the work was promptly scheduled for the next week. The materials and the work began at the time that he said they would. The roof replacement was completed in two days, and the crew cleaned up everything when they were finished. I found the company to be professional, knowledgeable, punctual, and respectful of my property. I had used Shellis Roofing previously and would do so again. This had to be one of the best experiences I have had using a contractor and I would definately recommend them.

After we signed the contract with Shellis, our materials were delivered in about two weeks. The entire process took about two days.
The workers were courteous and efficient, even though the daytime temperatures were in the 100's. Shellis's rep, Jordan Davis, was a delight to work with.

Everything went fine

Contacted Gary Estes - and from there everything went smooth as a whistle. Excellent customer service. Straight up information, and no surprises or "if's and but's". He worked well with my insurance agent who was then involved because of previous roofers messing up. He rang me twice with concerns for my choice during the actual job - he kept me in the loop. Standard time delivery ~ 1wk - roof done in a day and an excellent job. Cleanup was good and Gary came back 2 days later to ensure the job was all ok. He climbed up and inspected the roof, answered all my questions, and fixed a tile that was sticking up a little. I have not had to call the office for any reason. Excellent work.
