KECKNER'S RV SVC

Description of Work: I had a rear ac unit would not start. Fan would blow but compressor would not start. I took it to there shop and it turned out to be a simple capacitor on the ac unit that was bad. A $1300 replacement price at another RV service center was repaired for $77.

Description of Work: I supposedly had a contract with Keckners to install a new floor in my 5th wheel trailer. On the first day that they were on the job, I saw that they were not starting properly. Since I have many years experience in this kind of work, I left them proceed with this work. After several days of messing up my trailer, I completely stopped all work and requested that (Wes) the owner of Keckners, stop by and discuss the work. Unfortunately, he had another job that he was working on and he had to drive very close to my place, but could not stop by to see what the problem was. I was then sent a bill for $1,600+ for the work that they had completed. I refused to pay until Wes could stop and look the the mess that was made. I even stopped at his office and talked to his wife and suggested a compromize. Wes was out of town at the time, so I had to wait until he returned. When he did finally stop and look at the work completed, he stated that the flooring looked perfectly good to him. He asked, what do I want, a smooth tile floor without all of the bumps that was created by the OSB subflooring? He then asked me if there was anything written on paper just what work he had done. When I told him that there wasn't anything that I was aware of, his comment was that technically he hadn't done anything at that point for me to have a problem with. My comment back at that time was that if he hadn't done technically that technically, I did not owe the $1,600+ bill that he sent me. He stormed out of my trailer and said that I would be hearing from his attorney. My comment was that I would appreciate it if I did that I had all of the information ready for him. As of this day, I have not heard another word from him. I personally had to remove his mess and install a new floor. Because of all of the mess and no cooperation, I finally traded the 5th wheel trailer for a new Motorhome. ALL OF THIS INFORMATION IS FACTUAL WITH MANY WITTNESSES AT THE RV PARK, INCLUDING THE MANAGER THAT TOOK THE PHOTOS I WOULD NEED IF THIS WENT TO COURT.
