+ 4 moreScott Beard has been our contractor since we bought our house in Rockport in 2014, and his company has done a variety of work for us. There have a number of times in which we've needed urgent, sometime major repairs and Scott has always been there for us. The work has always been high quality and timely (or at least within reason). I really appreciate his attention to the projects in-progress and follow-up afterwards especially since we are remote -- this was particularly true after Hurricane Harvey. Highly recommend Aransas Roofing and Construction.
Description of Work: House weatherproofing, roof repair, flooring, wall/ceiling repair (interior and exterior), masonry, mitigation and debris removal (from Hurricane Harvey).

+ 0 moreIt’s really great to find a totally honest contractor among the vultures that swoop down after major storms hit. He then said “call me when you really need a new roof”. That’s exactly what I will do sir, count on it!!!!!
Description of Work: My house is in Aransas Pass, Texas and when Hurricane Harvey came calling, we got hit but, not as bad as many others were. Then the insurance company settlement arrived and it did not include any funds for roof repair. My roof was not missing nor did it have a giant hole in it however, I was concerned that my insurance company was rushing or perhaps cutting corners. I started calling roofing contractors for estimates of damage the insurance adjuster had possibly missed. I got estimates of total loss to both the house and detached garage roofs. Then I called Aransas Roofing and Construction. The owner of the company personally called to tell me, I did not need a new roof or any repairs at all. I was confused since I had been told both my roofs were a total loss due to “wind damage”. They said the wind did not blow any of them away but, it had lifted the shingles and unseated them causing a total loss. He told me that, those are people trying to scam you. It’s really great to find a totally honest contractor among the vultures that swoop down after major storms hit. He then said “call me when you really need a new roof”. That’s exactly what I will do sir, count on it!!!!!

+ -1 moreThe quality of the work was exceptional. Scott and his crew kept us up to date on all issues. They were very polite and work was completed quickly. I have hired them to reside and replace windows on the adjoining garage/barn structure.
Description of Work: Bee hive removal, reinsulate and reside house, install new windows and floor. They identified and repaired serious electrical and plumbing problems discovered in the process of performing the original work.

+ -1 moreCheaper in price is not always cheaper in quality. Mr. Beard (the owner) is not only the consummate gentleman to do business with, but his final product far exceeded expectations. He pointed out defects in prior attempts to fix my roof and explained exactly what he was going to do. He was inspected throughout the process by engineers from Lynn and Associates. Although the project required unforeseen prerequisite repair, he stuck with his bid - over 45% less than two well established roofing companies. You Go, Mr. Beard!
