This is the second time I've used Tree Service Solutions for pruning the Live oak trees in my front yard. Both experiences were identical. I called and Chris answered. He was able to come out the same day and provide an estimate. Chris listened to what I wanted to accomplish and he spent time looking at my trees and we discussed what would be best. I gave him the go ahead and Chris indicated his crew would be here next week.
His crew showed up the following week as promised and they really spent alot of time on the trees. Both trees were pruned as I agreed with Chris and I'm very happy with the results. All branches are picked up and shredded on the spot. The crew also did a rake clean up to get the small twigs from the lawn. The crew also does the small things that some contractors miss such as knocking on the door to let you know they arrived and checking to make sure everything is satisfactory before leaving.

Chris contacted me very soon after requesting a quote. He went by my house to check out the tree even though we could not be there to let him in the locked gate. He was happy to just look over the fence. He gave me a price over the phone and followed up with a written proposal over email. Chris answered all of my questions thoroughly even though this was a small job. The crew who performed the work was very nice and they worked very quickly. Their clean up efforts were quite amazing. You truly could not tell any work had been done (other than the missing tree) because they cleaned up so well after themselves. No branches, leaves or debris were left anywhere at all. I would highly recommend this company.

They removed the tree that was banging against our house during high winds and cleared some trees to allow more light to our lawn. I think they did an excellent job and I will call them back when I need more trees trimmed.

The crew lead talked with me about the limbs to be removed before performing the work. After cutting the damaged limbs, they removed them from my yard. I was very pleased with their work.

The team was capable, knowledgeable, fast and careful. They were professional and through. Chris was there superv'ising and was very helpful - it's very clear that he knows and cares about his trees! He even helped me with my tomato plant!

We have used Tree Service Solutions for at least 10 years. They always give excellent, punctual service. Their crews are well trained and conscientious with your property and clean-up. They are very safety conscious, using safety gear when climbing in my trees. This time we used them for trimming, knowing an ice storm was predicted and two of our trees were quite heavy. We are very happy with the shape of the trees after trimming and did not lose a single branch in the December ice storm.

They did a great job. Cleaned up everything well. Trimming far exceeded expectations. Were a little late previous appointment added on work and they professionally rescheduled the extra work for later and were delayed, but owner showed up in the meantime to talk about the job. Would definitely hire again and will have them back to do other trees.

Never thought I would use a Certified Arborist 3 times in 1 month, but Chris Becherer is my tree guy now!
House was having foundation issues and one of the contributors was the big bradford pear tree in the front. I called Tree Service Solutions based upon his Angie's List grades. Chris came out, gave me an estimate (which was several hundred dollars less than another Angies's List service) to remove tree and grind stump, and we set a date for his crew. Chris showed up with his crew of three right on time and got to work. I was impressed that his crew was actually wearing and using safety equipment (hard hats) and secured themselves with ropes when cutting the high branches. The stump grinder guy came later and the job was done perfectly.
Then we had a new fence built that included a motorized gate. We had to have another bradford pear removed because it was in the gate's path. Chris came out and gave me an estimate and we set a date. I also had him look at some of my other trees that had been trimmed the month before by a guy that knocked on my door that was in the area and offered to trim my trees. They did a poor job and I had Chris's crew clean up their pruning mistakes on 2 other trees. Once again - on time, perfectly done, and reasonable price.
I then discovered that the fence crew cut a 5 inch and 3 inch root on my live oak in order to dig a trench for the gate. I called Chris in a panic. He asked me to describe the root cut, could tell I was stressed out, and said that he would come by later in the day. Chris came buy, told me what the problem was, and explained how he could help fix it. He squeezed me into his schedule and his crew came out 2 days later to apply a deep root stimulator. I will have Chris come out annually to check on the health of this tree because it's 12 years old and will cost a couple of thousand dollars to replace.
I highly recommend Chris and Tree Service Solutions. Great service, great price, and easy to do business with!

Tree Service Solutions was great. They were timely and professional. They cleaned up behind themselves. They did a good job. They did what I asked them to do.

Everything went perfect. They do exactly what they say, when they say they are going to do it. The owner is an arborist that really knows what he is doing. They did a great job in cleaning up after themselves, it looked like they were never there.

Chris came on-site to provide an estimate on schedule as planned. As we had several pieces of work that we wanted done that not only involved trees in our yard, but our neighbor's yards as well, we asked that the estimate be broken down into pieces in order to work with the neighbors (and our budget). Chris did so - no problem. We wanted one tree removed and several others trimmed, and also asked for his opinion on the heath and needs of others. Chris provided a comprehensive evaluation.

We asked 2 other contractors for estimates and decided to go with Chris as he met our criteria: fair price, knowledgable, prompt, and local.

The work was performed as scheduled, completely to our satisfaction, and as spec-ed out with no (or very minor damage) to ground cover (i.e. no craters and crushed plants in the aftermath). Work areas were completely cleaned-up. Stump removal had to be done a couple of days after the initial service, which was a known, and was done on time.

I would highly recommend Chris and his Texas Tree Solutions and will be working with him in the future myself.

They did an excellent job for a great price. They cleaned up very well. I would use them again.

Things went well. My trees are beautiful and my sage bushes are growing into a nice shape now.

I called them in December 2010 and they came round to give me an estimate on the pruning of the 2 crepe myrtles. (I was at work each visit so I never met them in person) Chris called me and said it was going to cost $125. I asked if they prune the trees the correct way unlike most people who top them off and he said yes that they prune them the way they are supposed to be pruned. I was pleased. He said he'd call me when they were going to be in the area probably in Jan'11 which was fine by me. During the call I asked if they could also trim my 2 conifers at the front and take a look at my 2 other trees, 1 in the front yard and one in the back yard. He said yes at no extra charge. I got a call in January and they came around and pruned the crepe myrtles and did a fantastic job. Just the way I wanted them done. My 2 conifers were not pruned and I never got any feedback on the 2 other trees if they needed work on etc...I called and Chris said that they would come back and do them. Eventually about a month later the conifers got pruned which look great and I'm very pleased with them. We did get some really bad weather so that's partly why it took so long for them to come back. But I never got any feedback on my 2 other trees. I think that the work that they did was fantastic but their responsiveness, punctuality and listening skills need to be improved if they want an A for excellent in all categories. I'll definitely use them again but I think I'm just going to have to spelling out what my requirements are more clearly or perhaps get them to write it down.

Owner was flexible and met me in the morning at my house before I had to leave for work to do the initial estimate (he seemed very knowledgable). When I mentioned that I would probably need him out next year to trim them again, he said when done properly you should only need your trees trimmed every 2 or 3 years (total shocker, he turned down a sales opportunity to do the right thing). This scored major points in my mind. He informed me they had a significant back log and it would be 3 weeks before they could do the work (wasn't a problem for me). When they did come out, the crew did the work and cleaned up everything afterwards. My trees have never looked better, I can highly recommend this company.

Great they did a great job and did more then I asked. Were here on time cleaned up the branches. The trees are well shaped. Very nice people.
