The old lining was removed and the new lining was sewn in. There were three inner pockets to replace, all with leather trim. Every looked like new to me. I thought the charge was very reasonable.

Last year I took in a pair of hiking pants to have a plastic zipper replaced with a metal zipper. The zipper they provided was good quality and the pants looked like they were originally made with the new zipper. I was so pleased that I took 2 more pair of pants to have their zippers replaced also. This past June I bought my young daughter a swim suit that was cut too low in the chest. I purchased a foot of swim suit material from Joann's Craft store and took it to Valeria's to see if they could alter the swim suit. They could and they did an excellent job. The suit looks like it came manufactured with the extra material. My daughter swam all summer in this suit and the alteration still looks great. Each time, alterations were promised in 1 week and were ready. I felt the prices were very reasonable. I have recommended them to several friends.

The alterations were not done well at all. It was originally supposed to take one week for the alterations to be completed. At one week, I went in and tried on the dress and it was too tight. They took it in too much. She told me to come back in four days. I explained that I needed this for a wedding the following weekend. Once again, she said no problem. I returned to pick up the dress and noticed that the layers were uneven, she told me to come back in two days. I returned again and it looked horrible. She said it needed to be pressed. I took it to the cleaners, they pressed it...still the dress looks bad. I tried to resolve it with them, they said it was right and the only thing I could do was bring it back and she could have it ready in a week. The wedding is tomorrow. I am now out $100.00 for the dress and $45.00 for the alterations. Not to mention a new dress I will need to purchase today for a wedding tomorrow. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.
