RICK LOVELADY CARPETS

We stopped by the store on a Saturday.  The salesman in the store David Jenkins was knowledgeable about the different flooring options that would fit our needs and wants.  Pricing given at store visit was consistent with the written estimate given after a measurement,  Several other stores were visited; Rick Lovelady had a good price and  knowledgeable salesperson who is also willing to answer questions ( not the case at a few of the other locations we visited).  Flooring arrived and was scheduled for installation along the timing we were given.  The installers were on time, professional and a pleasure to work with.

I stopped by their showroom, discussed my project, and was supposed to get a phone call with some pricing information. I never heard from them, so a few weeks later, I called and made an appointment to have someone come to my home and take measurements. The appointment was for 10:30. When no one showed by 10:50, I called to see what was up. I was told that he had a client, so was not able to come. He explained that it's like at the doctor's office, when the doc is with someone else, you have to wait. WHA? I pointed out that he wasn't a doctor, and that I WAS the client at 10:30, he (the owner) hung up on me. 
I called back and asked what his problem was. He said I was being unreasonable. He offered to head my way soon. That would make him an hour late. I told him "no thanks", and that I would be posting negative reviews online. He said he didn't care.
If you're looking for an abusive, nasty man to talk to about carpets and flooring, Rick is your guy. He never would have been so hostile to a man on the phone. Vile.
