They overcharged me and did not complete the repairs that he told me were completed.
Atmos turned my gas off around the 1st of Aug. due to a gas leak. I called Pratt Plumbing because a friend said they charged $75.00 per hour. Pratt Plumbing (Damon Weatherbie) charged me $1161.60 for less than 7 hours of work on 8/4 and 8/5. During those 7 hours, he made three trips to the shop to get parts (what do they have in those vans?), he had several "stand-offs" with my dog trying to get her to like him (that was creepy). One time I found him in the neighbor's back yard, just standing there. He attached the temp gas line and said he fixed 7 leaks under the house and said the house was holding pressure. Gary Hans (owner?)came by my house and told me the back yard line would run $1300-$1600.00 (not counting the work under the house) and they needed a "small" down payment. Andrea the receptionist told me they needed $1000.00 down payment. I told Andrea that I got a loan for $1600.00 and gave her my debit card info for the down payment. I have since learned that you don't pay up front and you don't pay $1000.00 down payment. On 8/9/16 she drafted my bank account for $1600.00. Andrea called me 8/11 to see if they could put in the permanent line on 8/12. I asked what my bill was running and she said, "about $1600.00." I told her I wanted to talk to Gary. She said he was out of town and would call me 8/17. Gary Hans never called me. I went to their office 8/19 and requested an itemized bill and Andrea told me they don't do that, they print an invoice when the job is done. Gary called her while I was in the office, she told him I was there and he told her he would call me shortly, he never did. I hired Scottco 8/22 to finish the job. They had to leak search because the house WAS NOT HOLDING PRESSURE . Pratt Plumbing did not find a leak under the hot water heater. Probably because it was a difficult repair. A friend, Jean Hood and I went to Pratt 8/25 and Andrea gave me a copy of the invoice for $1161.60 and told me the check was in the mail. I told her that was to much and she said they charge $135.00 per hour (for one plumber). I said it was still to much and Andrea opened the door for us to leave.

Have used Pratt Plumbing for a few jobs over the past couple of years. Most recently, we had a gas leak on the line running from the meter to the house under about 55 feet of concrete. Gary came up with a very innovative solution that fixed the leak without having to tear up all that concrete and without the expense of boring. They also found a couple of other small leaks inside the house and corrected those as well. Gary and his team saved me a lot of money and completed the job quickly and very professionally. Very pleased with the service we received. I would highly recommend Pratt Plumbing!

The Pratt employees came out in the time frame that I was told they should arrive. We discussed the type of hot water heater that would best fit my needs at a cost that would fit my budget, and they were able to obtain the unit the same day. The installation required a wooden pedestal to mount the tank upon, so they constructed one on the spot. They were very professional at all times, and were considerate about not damaging the surrounding walls/doors in the work area. They finished the job in a reasonable amount of time, and cleaned up the area after the work was completed. I couldn't have asked for a more desirable installation. I would highly recommend Pratt in the future to anyone needing plumbing or related repairs.

The work took part of two days because of the unforseen accessability but the repair went very smoothly. They finished ahead of schedule the second day and you couldn't tell they'd been there because they put everything back like it was and cleaned up well.

Work went well. One plumber worked under the house, replacing the water lines, while another plumber and helper dug the trench and laid the lines. After the city inspected the work the trench was covered up.
