I too questioned the increase in price when I saw it come across my desk. It was my understanding that after a portion of the work was completed you requested a different route be taken or added some additional work. Unfortunately we still have to charge for what was already done. Plumbing is certainly not a fun thing to spend money on and doesn't seem to be getting any less expensive. I would be happy to email you a copy. It was told to you twice that the $75 fee was our emergency weekend MINIMUM charge to which you agreed. That fee comes off the price of our service because we do not charge overtime. It was also explained to you that once our technician assessed the problem he would quote you a price upfront before beginning any work. I understand that some customers choose their plumber based on price alone. Mr. Rooter is very competitively priced for what we deliver. Prompt professional quality service that is guaranteed to solve your problem so it doesn't continue to reoccur time after time.
