It was fine. He did a great job. He's on time. I have no complains. We had several people come out and gave us a quote. He's reliable. He came out. He quoted. He listened to what we wanted. He helped us find a material that I was looking for. He was just overall very helpful. He's friendly and responsible. I would highly recommend him. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent. They definitely showed up when they were supposed to. They did a good job. They covered, patched and took care of everything. They were prompt. They did very good.

David was very nice, prompt and knew exactly what to do. The appliances fit just fine. He had to match the paint and it looked great. He did the job in minimal time--there was no waiting.

This was a remodel for a rental house.  David was very prompt about getting me an initial estimate.  I was always able to get in touch with him when I needed him.  He showed up everyday that he said that he would on time.  He worked with me every step of the way when I wanted to change a few things.  He never asked for money up front, although I did give him some because my wife got hospitalized during this time and I needed him to provide some extra items that I was supposed to provide.  I thought he was very fair on pricing.  Overall I was thoroughly impressed with David and I will use him again.  I would highly recommend him to anyone.

It went well, he arrived early because he a finished the previous job quicker than expected, but he called and asked if it was ok to come early.  I explained what I wanted done and he went right to work.  A couple hours later the doors were closing better and the gaps were sealed better.

David removed my old tub and stripped everything in the area down to the studs. Once the demolition was completed he installed a new shower and tiled the walls from floor to ceiling. My shower is gorgeous! I'm having him come back next week to replace my old tub and plastic surround with a new soaker tub and tile.

We started off with a scheduled visit from David who REALLY listened to what we wanted.  He gave us some very helpful suggestions but let us make the final decision.  It was his idea to move the location of the refrigerater and pantry to be more effecient kitchen and I love it.  At this visit he took all the measurements along with the information of what we wanted.  David returned with a drawing and a price.  We discussed the layout and a few changes we had thought of.  David was not alarmed with any changes we requested and helped us to make the additional plans.  Following this visit, we called in about a week to schedule a starting date. 
When David arrived, the work started and did not stop till he finished.  He finished on time and on budget.  During his work, he always cleaned up the area before stoping for the day.  He was very mindful of our dogs and took every precaution to keep them protected.  He was also very protective of the rest of the house and would put up barricades so the dust would be held at a minimum to the rest of the house. 
David was very attentive to detail.  He even painted the inside of the outlets to match the wall color or backsplash color.  Even after I picked the paint color, he painted samples for final approval and was I ever glad he did! 
David does not in any way fit the jokes or horror stories we hear about contractors.  He reported for work at 8:00 am, took a 30 minute lunch and did not stop till the end of the day.  I don't know how he does it, but he does not know what "taking a break" means. 
To finish, you are probably questioning the work being done in Odessa, Tx. when David is from Amarillo, Tx.  Well, first I am so glad we did use David even being from out of town.  We had received referrals for David.  We did interview local contractors but none compared to David.  David is 100% hands on.  He is a good honest man and is VERY good at what he does!  We are more than happy with our new remodel!

He arrived promptly and did his work efficiently - keeping the work area tidy at all times.

Response to my inquiry via e-mail on Angie's list was very fast.  We set up appt to look at the job and provide an estimate by the end of the next day.  As the job was a bit pressing due to water damage, David managed to fit the job in within several days.  He completed it pretty quickly.  I was very impressed and very happy with his work.  He completed a very nice pattern for the tile job.

Regarding costs, I did not compare his estimates to others as we wanted to get the job done asap, but believe that it was very reasonable.  I dealt mostly with his co-worker (wife) and had a very positive experience all the way around.  She was also very responsive and professional.

We also requested a bid to re-do the shower in the  3/4 bathroom in the same home.  David will be completing that job in a few weeks.    I have every confidence in the job David will do on the shower, based on his work already completed.
