He is a good vet. I used to work for a vet years ago. He is very professional and tells you like it is. I had took a dog to him a while back with kidney failure and he brought her out of it. She lived another year. He also honors senior discounts.

We have used David and the folks at Coulter Road for years. You will not find a more dedicated (and overworked!) vet than David. He truly loves animals and works with his patients. The only issue we have run into (and its standard procedure), is the lengthy waits prior to service. There is no real 'appointment' so you come in and wait your turn....typically amounting to a couple of hours.

My collie/heeler mix started having diarrhea after we switched her dog food. We called the vet to let them know what had been happening for the past week or so. They told us to bring her right in. Without explaining what he was doing or how much was going to be charged. Our dog was stuck with two shots, a stool sample was tested, and three prescriptions were given to us for a grand total of about $300. We did not expect to spend this much for diarrhea. To make matters worse, it's a week later and Dixie's stools still aren't back to normal. I called the vet to see what I should do and they wanted us to come in, pick up some more of the antibiotic, which hadn't been working, and pay another $35. We have since made an appointment elsewhere. Every question I asked seemed to be a bother to the vet. I guess it was our responsibility to ask how much this visit was going to cost, but I think giving that information shows the professionalism of a company
