The owner approached me a local flooring store, when I was researching contractors. He seemed very nice, professional and informative---at the time. Come to find out, although he may be a nice guy, he definitely uses the gift of gab to convince you he knows what he is doing. When it comes to tile, marble, and mosaic, he (MAY) know his trade; however, when it comes to hardwood floors--DO NOT USE HIM!!
He also states he is bonded and insured. AGAIN, NOT TRUE!! Seems he is insured in tile, marble, and mosaic; BUT, HE IS NOT INSURED IN REGARD TO WOOD FLOORING!!
NOW, AFTER SPENDING OVER $12,0000 we have to have several areas of the floor re-done. Why? Because, the owner incorrrectly laid the flooring! We have all thresholds into the rooms incorrectly laid, hallways that the flooring was cut too short, and an entry way that looks horrible, THE WORST PART IS THIS CONTRACTOR IS NOT INSURED FOR WOOD FLOORING AS HE FALSELY LEADS YOU TO BELIEVE!
