"Thank You- wonderful customers!"
I am not easily impressed, but I was beyond impressed with Jennifer, the Bee Wrangler. She is definitely one amazing lady. Someone has to do A+ work to impress me. Jennifer’s performance and expertise were both beyond A+. I rate her A+++++!!
It's extremely rare to find someone who is so exceptionally professional, excellent, honest, as well as so very fair in their pricing!! Jennifer had quoted $300 when I spoke with her on the phone, then charged me only $250 because she said the hive was new with only about 5,000 bees, and easier and quicker to access and remove than she had expected.
Jennifer’s demeanor, expertise, and price were in extreme contrast to Ronald Wayne Cox with Adkins Bee Removal service that had come out earlier the same day to look at my situation and tried to pressure my husband and me into signing a contract for $846 to $1,200. Furthermore, he wanted to cut into our irreplaceable clear heart Redwood fascia board to access the bee nest rather than cutting the sheetrock ceiling from inside the house as we wanted to do to save the redwood. He also refused to tell us what he was going to do for all of that money. He said that cutting the sheetrock inside would make a huge mess. Guess he must not know how to do it properly, as Jennifer made no mess at all!
Over the weekend, I had searched Angie’s list and then the Internet for a beekeeper who could remove a honeybee nest and the bees from my home without harming the bees and then take them to an apiary. The first person to respond to me was Ron with Adkins Bee Removal. He called me multiple times, and then came to our home to look at the job on Monday morning. However, he tried to pressure us into signing his contract agreeing to pay him an outrageous price. When I informed him that I was not comfortable with his proposal, he insisted on our paying him $75 in cash for his trip charge. He said he couldn’t take credit cards OR a check. Now I see why. I just looked at the Adkins Bee Removal Website…. and it says FREE ESTIMATES! I tried to reach the national company to alert them, but I found no way to get a human voice. The website asks for one’s zip code, then the call is forwarded to the person in your area, which in this case is Ron!
Ron came in an unmarked truck, arrived with one other man accompanying him, then called two more to come to help with the job which he thought he was going to get from us. He was intimidating, pressuring, and totally unprofessional and suspicious. I discovered his phone number isn’t listed with the Better Business Bureau or Angie's List. When I asked why his phone number wasn’t listed with the BBB he said that the phone number was his cell phone and that the 800 number I had called was a national company of which he was contractor who worked out of his home. I just now looked at the Adkins Bee Removal website, and they advertise FREE estimates at absolutely no charge. So, Ron with Adkins Bee Removal is also dishonest in charging us $75 for coming and giving us an estimate!!! At least my husband had him sign a receipt saying he had been paid in cash.
Thank goodness, Jennifer with the Bee Wrangler, happened to return my call while I was trying to escape from Ron’s intimidating pressure. Amazingly, she was able to come out here that same afternoon and said that her price would not exceed $300.
In sharp contrast to my experience with Adkins Bee Removal, Jennifer with the Bee Wrangler Company arrived alone, did her work alone, and was not intrusive, pushy or intimidating as was Ron with Adkins Bee Removal. Ron had also said he couldn't guarantee he wouldn't kill the bees. In contrast, Jennifer loves the bees, understands their behavior, retrieves all of them, and doesn't kill them.
I would definitely recommend Jennifer, the Bee Wrangler to friends and family and definitely use her in the future if I ever have bees again! She even stayed about an hour after finishing in order to allow time for those bees which were out scouting for nectar to return to their queen and the rest of the bees (which Jennifer by then had in a bee cage sitting on my roof near the entrance where their nest had been so that the other bees could easily find their queen and hive).
By the way, you can see a fascinating video of Jennifer’s work on UTube at JenniferJoScott2Bee.

"[removed member name]- Thank You for the wonderful review. It is sad that many "bee people" are not honest. I am proud to have done your job - thank you for the opportunity!- Jennifer"
I know the bees are happy with Jennifer. I made the right call.
