Taller Hurricane Construction Systems

We contracted Vicente Garza Meza of Taller Hurricane Construction Systems in November of 2018 to build our house and we gave them a $45,000 payment. Nothing has been done until the last couple of weeks and it’s only because we put pressure on them. They delivered a few loads of dirt to start the pad but didn’t prep the ground per engineered blueprints. We brought it to their attention and told them they needed to redo the pad. Again they didn’t show up, didn’t return our calls or texts or emails. I had to drive to the owners house to talk to him and he assured me he would be back at the job site that day to fix it (I recorded the entire conversation). What he did was order several more loads of dirt to be delivered and dumped on top of what was already there. My son was there to stop him and told him not to have anymore dirt delivered until the pad was redone to engineered specs. My husband told the contractor to get off the property and not come back . He is refusing to give our $45,000 back.,
