Southland Screen Enclosures

On July 1 I entered a contract with Southland pools for a pool enclosure. The company didn't apply til August, as my HOA has a 30 day policy to respond to projects, at the end of August they responded that they would not approve the project, citing building specifications, height restriction. The company advised against submitting another proposal, one with drawings because it would just be a waste of money. I asked for a refund and the employee said only the owner/manager, Taylor Romero, could do that. I tried calling. No response. I emailed. After 2 days waiting I called the employee, who said that he would talk to Mr. Romero. Mr. Romero finally emailed and said that he could only return half of the deposit. I emailed back saying that it was excessive. At a minimum I should receive two thirds of the deposit or at least 60%. Again no response til a couple days later. When he said no. It's September 11 and I don't know when I will get my refund, if i do get it. A business, who works

Really honest, small business who not only has great management, but the people they hire also care. The whole crew was great, they work hard they're very polite and the boss checks in on the site daily to make sure things are moving accordingly. You can see the older guys teaching the younger or newer guys how to do the job and the older guys really mentor and the new guys really listen. A team that works like that will always put out better quality work. Overall can't recommend Taylor and his crews enough. I would gladly do business with them again. Which might be sooner than later as soon as we put in a pool.

The most impressive thing about the Southland team is their craftsmanship. They aren’t sub contractors just throwing things together. They are pros. They found solutions to complicated roof lines and just made it look easy. There isn’t a person who doesn’t drop their jaw when they see my pool enclosure. Not to mention I can have snacks and fruit left in the open while I jump into the pool and not a fly to worry about landing on my food. And mosquitoes, I’ve forgotten what that is. These guys put the icing on our new home. We are proud owners of a Southland Pool Enclosure.

This by far was a great experience, Taylor told me I would be very pleased with the work once done, let me tell you they went above and beyond. They completed my patio enclosure in 1 day, they showed up on time, got started, and once done cleaned up and I was blown away. I highly recommend SOUTHLAND screen enclosures. They did not disappoint. Professional, knowledgeable, and great value.

Everything was great! Taylor was very professional, and answered all questions. We had the pool re-screened and added a roofed enclosure, adding more space to the outdoor living area.

Southland screens did a great job for us enclosing our patio that included a beautiful door and the perfect puppy door. Zack and Taylor, owners, listened to our needs and did a perfect job. Our puppy door was a challenge as we have a 5 pound Yorkie to accommodate. They took the time to research doors and found the perfect one and spent 30 minutes to install a custom fit. Taylor has built screen enclosures around our upstairs balcony. Two sections are motorized and the other three are fixed screens. The quality of the work, the workmanship and the professionalism was excellent. I would definitely recommend them anyone that is thinking about screen enclosures for their balcony, patio or pool.
