JOE'S PAINTING

DO NOT GIVE THIS CONTRACTOR MONEY! I paid Joe Carrasco $26,000 via check in December to add a bedroom and bathroom to my home. He started the construction and disappeared with the rest of the money. He never paid the sub-contractors who had started work. I have spent thousands repairing the damages. WORST mistake ever! Don't let this guy scam you!!

Joe's cost estimates and scheduling were exactly as he told me. His crews worked efficiently and diligently to complete the work. I split the work up into two sessions. The formal dining room first (2 days) and the rest a week later(3 days) The results were exactly what we were looking for.

I've hired him 4 or 5 times and I've been happy every time I've used him. He's fair and honest.

It was good work overall. The pool room paint was interior paint with no mildew retardant and a couple weeks after the work was done, we noticed the mildew. I have called him to have him come back out and he did call and say he would come out but he never has and it's been about a month.

Of the three companies we contacted for estimates, Joe came across as the most knowledgeable and professional. I made an appointment for him to come and provide an estimate and he arrived early. His explanation of the estimate and his proposal for the job was the most comprehensive and while his estimate was also the highest, we felt confident he would complete the job as discussed. He and his crew started the work promptly and finished within a very reasonable amount of time.

Joe returned my call and came by to give an estimate for painting two rooms in my house. His prices were very reasonable and he explained the difference in certain paints, why they peel and chip. He also talked me into a better color which I am thankful for that. The painting job was scheduled as soon as we agreed on a day, and Joe and his painter were right on time. They both did an excellent job and was recommended to me, and I would recommend them also. They cleaned up very well and left the house in spic and span condition.

Joe returned my call quickly and stopped by to give me an estimate. His prices were quite good, and he showed me different colors and brands of paint and explained why paint peels, chips, and fades. He scheduled my house exterior first, and he showed up on time. He unloaded the paint, ladders, and other tools from his truck and covered the windows. He cleaned up any mess, and the house looks wonderful.
