We went in and purchased the materials. They told us to wait for the materials and then we'll schedule the putting in the carpet. It would be 10 days for the materials to come in. They told us we will schedule separately once the materials come in. Once the materials came in, it was another 3 weeks before they can install it. I thought, why couldn't they just schedule it if they know they are going to be 3 weeks behind anyway and they expect the materials to show up in 10 days. It just kind of pissed me off because we had to go 5 weeks and our furniture was already delivered so now we have to move all our furniture twice so that they can install all our carpet. They haven't installed the carpet yet. They told us it would be on the 29th and we purchased it back in July. I wanted to go to a local but my husband said the materials are so much cheaper with Home Depot and he was right when we looked at the material cost, but I think that maybe the smaller business people make up for it probably with their customer and their installation. The quality of the hardwood was nice. It looks great and they did it in the morning for a few hours, I couldn't believe it. We had to talk to a different person at every step of the way. They had different people installing it because they are contractors. I understand but it's like you don't know what you are going to get. They showed up on time when they said they would. They yet have to do the carpet. They were punctual and professional. They didn't impress me that much but they were competent.
