Charles and his assistant worked efficiently and everything arrived at the destination without damage. They used our belongings like pieces to a big puzzle, putting them in their trailer and then shifting them around as needed to get the trailer packed completely without any empty spaces and attempting to get the move done in one trip. We had too much stuff and it did end up requiring a second trip, but with the close distance between point A and point B they were still able to complete the move within the 2 hour time frame that I had paid for (they don't lollygag around so as to stretch out the time and get extra pay for going over). They were careful of fragile pieces, wrapping them in shrink wrap or blankets.
I had called other movers and they were all to start the clock on the move when they left their shop. Charles started the clock on my 2 hours when he arrived at my storage unit.
My son is moving into a new home at the end of the month and I am calling Cheap Best Movers again to set up his move.
They were particularly careful with the furniture and items to be moved (unlike the previous crew who had damaged items the preious day) they packed the trailer so tightly to reduce the cost (the trailer was paid for by the amount of trailer that was used). I cannot praise these guys too highly, professional, polite and extremely helpful going above and beyond when requested by the lady of the house to do additional work (for example take down the basketball hoop).
My recommendation is, if you want a professional no nonsense move then don't go any further than these guys.
The most important thing for us is that we got more than we paid for. The effort displayed and the desire to please us was tantamount. The cost was well below other bids and yet, within their skill set, they did their best.. We had no complaints and would use them again (if we ever lose our minds and move again....but that's another topic). billk
