It’s now been several years being retired and getting older wanted to replace our carpeting. We had a really nice Berber for 17 years but knew would not last forever. Time to replace while we could still empty cabinets, etc. I asked and sought help from The owner expressing how I loved how what we had had held up and wanted comparable new carpet. Well he showed me some samples I asked if they would last and wear as good as my existing carpet. “Oh yes” ha absolutely not. Since the first month the carpet has been unraveling. My job after vacuuming is to carpet punch the strands back in. 66 crawling around of the floor punching carpet. Oh it was the owner who told me I needed to buy a carpet punch. So as I get older it is harder crawling around but I still remember the owners could care less. Go elsewhere.

Very friendly and professional. Owner actually did the work and the floor looks great. Price was comparable with other estimates. Went with them because they have been in business 60 years and my parents have used them before and were happy. I'm happy too.

The service was good; I had no problems with them and the installation went fairly quickly. The only thing I have a problem with is the quality of the material they used; it was horrible. I don't know if they were supposed to prep anything before they installed the new floor because I have mold coming up through the floor in one of the bathrooms so that is not how it is supposed to be. Other than that people at the business were really friendly; they had knowledge but the quality of material they installed was garbage. Their price was fair, they had the flooring in stock and they were able to get to my job in a week. They were punctual; the job took all day.

The experience was absolutely perfect. I would recommend them to anyone. They were outstanding. Their customer service and professionalism stood out. We are going to be using them again for more flooring.

We had first looked at several chain companies for hardwood flooring, but we found the best quality, price, customer service and installation at Alvin Decorating and Flooring. We had hardwood flooring installed in our family room and it is absolutely beautiful. Previously we had carpet. We have received numerous compliments on the new flooring. Alvin Decorating and Flooring was very helpful with offering choices and recommendations for our home in the price range we had chosen. They have experienced installers that have been with their company for a long while, which was important to us versus random contractors. First, we made our choice, then they came out and took measurements, then gave us quote. The floor was installed on the day scheduled, including custom stained trim.
We plan to use their products and services when we replace the flooring in the remainder of our home.
And they have beautiful decorating items and ideas!

They are very competent and very professional. They are responsive. They are very good to work with. I enjoyed working with them.

Team was highly professional, and very responsive to our needs. The end result was beautiful, especially the staircase which they should now use on the front of their brochure. We did have to bring them out twice over the next 5 months to do some repair work where the floors were making some "popping" sounds, presumably due to not being attached good enough. However, the team leader for the installation returned both times and personally repaired this both times at no charge. As impressed as I was with the final product, the professionalism and service was even more impressive by this company. I would not hesitate to use them again and to recommend them to anyone.

They have been very professional and clean, they have always been on time. They all speak very good English. I would use them again and recommend them. I enjoy working with them. I have had many companies do flooring and they are the only ones I would recommend to others.
