Seths home remodeling

PLEASE DO NOT USE Seth's Home remodeling services because he is a cheat. He will over charge you during or after the work is done. My wife found this guy on nextdoor because we had a busted pipe outside our home which flooded the wood floor in our living room. He gave us a price for having the wood floors in the living room (which was 2 layers) removed. He also said we needed to rent some air dryers from Home Deport to dry the walls and the floors. He asked us to pay him half the money as a deposit and $150 towards the air dryers, which we did. After the work was done, he gave us an invoice which was $700 more that his initial quote and said the initial quote was for the first layer of wood removal not the 2nd layer. He also said the $150 that we agreed to pay towards the air dryers from Home Deport was for is son to go pick up the dryers. I would have never agreed to pay $150 to go pick up some dryers from Home Deport 10mins away from me that I could have picked up myself. Also, I got other quotes from other contractors that were way cheaper. I guess I should have asked for the initial quote in writing before I had him start the work. Again, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM SETH's Home remodeling services.
