We price everything directly from our pricebook that takes into account the price of the equipment, the time estimated to install, as well as the technicians expertise. We do not charge an hourly rate, and our customers will get the same rate per our pricebook whether the job took 15 minutes or took 5 hours. The original 30-year-old wiring for the ceiling fan on our back porch did not meet electrical code. Romex had been run directly from the porch light up to the porch ceiling, along a ceiling beam & directly into the old fan. When we needed to replace the ceiling fan we chose Clements Electric Texas LLC to replace the wiring. I was able to schedule an appointment quickly, and their office notified me when the electrician was on his way. He arrived promptly, quickly reviewed what needed to be done and did a great job. He removed the old Romex, formed & attached a conduit pipe to go from the porch light, up the wall & along the ceiling beam, ran new wiring through the conduit & installed an electrical box for the fan. With clean-up afterwards, the complete job probably took about an hour. He was very professional and proficient. We have used Clements Electric several times and have always had an excellent experience with them.

Repair was done through attic, just recently I went to use attic ladder and found leg cracked in half. Now I'm unable to go into attic until this is repaired. The technician never mentioned or informed me that the ladder broke during their use. Very unethical and now I worry what else might be damaged that wasn't reported to me.

No call no show for our appointment. I did call them three times and was told they were on there way and would call me. Took off work half a day to get stood up. All they could say was “ I’m Sorry”.

Did not use. Buyer beware. Angies List says their estimates are free. But the truth is that they charge you for the estimate if you decide against hiring them to do the work. I don't fault the company for having this policy but Angies List needs to clean up this incorrect information. Most companies tell you up front that, if you hire them for the job, that they will apply the estimate money to the work done.

A job well done. I added two more requests after the initial booking. Clements called to confirm the additional items and added same without a qualm. " Joey" arrived promply in the time window agreed to. He had installed LED lights and sensors in 2018. He sized up the repairs, left to get the additional parts, and returned. By 4 PM the work was completed in a tidy fashion. Joey not only explained what was needed, he illustrated why it was required. All my questions were answered. I have used Clements three times. On a fourth occasion I used another company as their price structure was more flexible. That job was done well, but for work of any import I would only use Clements. There are a few that may quote lower prices, but these evaporate on arrival. Clement does not quote a price until the job needs are sized up. Once it is quoted they may lower it but don't raise it. Trust is a major component to working with anyone and you can trust Clements. RFA 6/7/2018

I called Oncor and they came out, did not do any serious detection and told me to call an electrician. When I called Clements, his man found that the problem was actually Oncor's problem. When I contacted Oncor again and showed them my findings, they re-imbursed the cost that Clements had charged me.

I first tried to DIY to fix the short circuit, but after I opened the fixture to find that the black line was actually burned and broken, I don't have tool to cut the cement seal/cut drywall from inside and remove the box to reach the broken point. So I called Cements for help, Josh came in during the scheduled time, with the help of my picture, he quickly defined the problem and explained what He would do to fix and told me it is easy to remove the box from outside than doing it from inside via drywall. He is correct on the approach, once he removed the box, he eaisly found the pipe and located the broken point, and reconnect to the fixture. It took no more than 30 mins to finish the job, and he charged me the very reasonable for the labor. No time waste means no customer's money wait. Thumbs up for Josh! Thanks

Josh from Clements Electric was right on time, and listened to what I needed. He gave me great price quote, and then did the rewiring for me. I feel a lot better about the work, knowing Clements did it, rather than me. I previously used Clements to replace my electrical panel, and had a great experience that time, too. They are my Electrician of Choice! Great work, great process, and professional people.

first day, main electrician was constantly complaining and even was overheard saying he would like to punch the homeowner in the face. they spent more time trying to cut corners, like not attaching ground wires, than just doing the job correctly according to the drawing. ended up having to have them out 3 times and they still cut corners, possibly causing a safety hazard. when I called to get them back out to finish the job they said they weren't going to. after having to mention reviews they stated they don't care what type reviews they received. finally got them to finish the job. bottom line: they might be ok to just put a light switch or outlet in but nothing larger than that. last, I am missing some things after the last time they were out, no one else had been out. I would not recommend. I feel they really are just scammers.
