Suburban Door

Suburban Door has been repairing my garage for 4 years and were always great. They gave me a quote on a new door and I asked for an option to compare. That was the last I ever heard from them and I have called, emailed and left messages. The last time we talked Susan said I'll get right back to you; that was 2 weeks ago. I must assume they have more business than they need so on Angie's now looking for someone who actually wants my business. It is a shame I liked working with them but should not have to chase them around to do business.

They are a little more expensive than another company I found, but the service was great.

Fine. I called and they came same day. My garage door was level. The replaced the weather stripping at the bottom of the door and gave me recommendations on what to do next. (Use foam - get strips to go on the concrete.) I wish they could have done that part too. Prompt and professional. They graciously took my credit card when I couldn't find my checkbook.

Wonderful customer service, and very knowledgeable tech. My door was a complete mess, and I thought it was going to be a really expensive repair. I was pleasantly surprised when Ben told me it was only going to be $96. He checked my door and motor after the repair was done, and assured me that they were in great working order. I will proudly be recommending Suburban Doors to all of my friends and neighbors.

Do contact Suburban Doors for any of your garage door needs. I called them and was able to place an order that very day, very punctual and ready to help. We placed the order shortly after the Wylie Hail Storm when everyone was ordering new garage doors and, Suburban Doors was able to get us what we needed very quickly. We were made aware immediately when they found out that the specific door we were ordering would be delayed a few days due to the demand for garage doors caused by the storm. They rearranged their schedule to fit our needs. 
The serviceman Ben, was great. Very friendly, very knowledgeable. He arrived on time, started immediately and finished swiftly. When he was done, he gave my husband a tutorial on how to maintain the door, and also instructions on how to hook it up to Wi-Fi so we can manage the door from our smartphones. They also followed up and made sure everything was working as it should be. Great local company. I would definitely use Suburban Doors again and refer to all my friends and neighbors.

Right from the first phone call the whole process was easy. The lady at the office( on the phone) was very helpful and answered all my questions. I didnt have to wait on her to check on anything and give me a call back. she was very knowledgeable. The serviceman-Don-was right on time and very proffesional. He was able to tell me more about what to do keep my garage door in good working order. This is a super company and I'll be recommending Suburban Door to everyone! Thanks!

He was honest and replaced the clamp quickly.  Gave good advice on maintaining the equipment 

The service was excellent.  Ben came very promptly after I made my call to Suburban Door this morning.  The torsion springs were broken on my garage door.  The springs were installed within 40 minutes.  I had Suburban Door install a new garage door opener in December 2015 and I was pleased with their service because they provided professional, courteous and prompt service at that time.  That is why I called Suburban Door this morning to come and replace the steel torsion springs.  I highly recommend Suburban Door to anyone that has any garage door issues.  They will come and do the work promptly, professionally and the price is fair.

This company was a referral from Nations Home Warranty, so I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into.  I was pleased, however, with the outcome.
I called Nations around 10 am, and Suburban Door called about an hour later, with an opening that day between 12 and 2, which worked out perfectly.  Dan listened to my explanation that the door worked via the wall switch, but none of the remotes were working, and he explained that there were a few things that could be wrong.  He diagnosed that the board was failing, replaced it, and it works like a charm now.  I'm most grateful that I don't have to run out of my garage when I leave any more. :)
The only disappointment was that of course the home warranty company didn't cover the work - Dan called and verified while I was there.

One spring broke on my garage door over the Memorial Day weekend. I called and left a message with this company on Sunday realizing I would not get a call back on Monday because of the holiday. They called back at 7:45 AM Tuesday and said a technician would be out between 8 AM and 10 AM the same morning. The technician arrived by 8:30 AM and had both springs replaced in short order. I had actually used this same company 10 years ago for the same repair. The technician was very personable and professional. They use quality heavy duty tempered door springs, not builder grade parts. I would definitely use this company again for any garage door problems I may have in the future.

I called a couple of garage door services in my area and Suburban was the first one to pick up their phone.  They were very accommodating and told me that they would be able to have someone out the next morning (Saturday).

Ben, their technician showed up right on time and was very pleasant and helpful.  My door needed a special spring so he called in the order and said that he would pick up the spring and be back out on Monday to repair it.. The price he quoted me was very fair and he did exactly what I asked him to do.

He came back out on schedule and fixed the springs, balanced the door, oiled the wheels and now it works better than ever!!

I totally recommend Suburban and especially Ben, he made this as simple as possible and the experience was totally positive. He is a total pro.

Was in need for a replacement garage door ASAP. These guys were very quick to respond and willing to answer all of our questions. We had a slot of around 10~noon for our installation. Actually ended up being close to 1pm due to some emergency help that Suburban Door had to do with other clients. I took the day off from work, so it wasn't a problem. They seem to care a good deal about all of their customers, especially the ones who are in urgent need. Professional work done, and at a very reasonable price. Would recommend them to anyone!

Had to pay for parts, but not labor

Ben was efficient and had this fixed in about 10 minutes. As a bonus he turns out to be an ex pat Brit and big soccer fan so we shared some tales. Delightful, glad to have another honest, reliable contractor to call on.
The fact that this was a referral from a Nationwide Home warranty company rather than Angie's list caused me some concern but everything worked out. Oh yes warranty policy did not cover (do they ever?) in spite of agents assurances but Ben charged me very fairly.

We had a problem with it about 2 yrs later and they told me it was going to be over $500 to get it fixed. They said it wasn't covered under the warranty and they told me it was due to lack of maintenance. I had another provider do the work and this provider later admitted the springs were under the warranty. The provider also told me my rails were bent and needed replaced which were not true. They just tried to up sell me and make me pay things I didn't need. They were very unprofessional.

Everything went very well. The gentleman arrived on time, was very friendly and professional, and did an excellent job with all of the work.

Everything turned out well. The scheduling process was quick and easy, the technician was knowledgeable and punctual, and the work was done well because I haven't had any issues with the door since that point.

I recall having no trouble with scheduling the appointment. Everything worked out well and I have not needed additional work since then.

I really liked him. I really liked that he told me what I didn't need rather than what I did need. I recommended him to my neighbor and he said the same thing with them. He showed me how to service my own garage door so I wouldn't have to have him come back again.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went fine. The guy did a great job. Everything was very positive. I didn't spend any additional.
