Quick and cheap repair!

They fixed it and recover it within a few days.  The owner was very helpful.

I own a Toshiba Satellite laptop. The power source port on the side was
loose. I called Toshiba, they were quoting with shipping, taxes etc.
around $400 to repair and they do not use new parts according to what i
have read and heard.
I dropped my computer off today at 1:00 p.m. At 4:00 p.m. they called and said the computer was ready. I expected at least several days before the job would be complete
I am super satisfied with this company!!!

First, let me say that the only reason I gave Rodi Computer Service a B for professionalism is because of one incident where Rodi's assistant called me and told me that they were closing early that day so I should come pick up my computer. By the way they were closing in 15 minutes. I told her that I was at work but could drop everything and be there in 20 minutes (as my wife needed the computer for work) and she said I could come by in 20 minutes but that nobody would be there, and then she laughed. I found that a bit unprofessional and am still annoyed by it.
That said, I have found my and quot;go-toand quot; computer repair guy. Rodi is awesome. He bent over backwards to get my wife files off the computer that she needed for work, stayed late to do it, and even after closing the shop late, he waited outside after closing his shop for 35 minutes holding the cell phone I had forgotten in his shop. He was nice and personable, but most importantly, he was able to get me all the files I needed and restore my computer to a working state after some sort of virus bomb had prevented it from even getting to the boot menu. I have already recommended his service to friends and am almost completely satisfied with his service. I thought his prices were a bit high, but at the end of the day, his service was worth the money.
I hope I never need his services again, but if I do, I am glad he is there. Oh, BTW, check out his USB keys if you go to his office. He designed them himself - slim enough to fit on a key chain, waterproof and virtually indestructible (stainless steel). Pretty cool stuff.

Rodi's people were pleasant and helpful. They could have gouged me on both price and scope of work as I am not particularly tech savy. This was a good experience.

For the past several years my son had used Rodi Computer Service to repair his personal computers. I have used high-performance personal computers for many years and had decided to have one built to my specifications. I went to Rodi, we modified my specifications with his advice and he built the computer. This has performed flawlessly for the past year and I am completely satisfied

Evey time that I go there you, it feels like you are home, Rodi and his staff are very friendly.

I dropped my laptop off on Wednesday and it was promised for the next day. I was not ready until Friday afternoon but I was told that when I called Thursday. They installed a virus software for an additional change which I approved in advance. I was ready and I was able to check the computer when I picked it up.

The repair was made in less than 15 minutes while I waited just as he told me. He was familiar with the particular laptop, and diagnosed the problem before he actually opened the case. Once he opened the case, the connector was loose just as he suspected.
