Showed up late and drunk EVERYDAY. On day two he wanted to "re-negotiate" our contract. His crew borrowed expensive tools from our garage without asking. His crew came after me for payment saying he had not paid any money them for ten days of hard work because they were what he called "illegal aliens" even though I paid Brian up 1/2 up front and in full. Worst experience with a contractor of my life. Now he is filing a false mechanics lien when we do not owe him any more money!!! Run...run far away from this nightmare of a con man.

Ready Crew did a great job on my investment property. Brian Allen knows home construction and remodeling well, and assembled a team that could help him do the work. I saw Brian coach one of his workers on a difficult replacement of a bathroom vent fan, and he made sure everyone was productive.

We had to have portions of our wood floor ripped out and replaced as a result of necessary foundation work to our house. Compared to the installer who initially laid our wood floor, these repairs could have gone much, much better.Ready Crew was recommended by our flooring supplier, Pro Source, and the wood flooring repairs in our house required 2 days of work. However, due to some problems on another of his jobs, as well as personal issues, the project was condensed to one day. We were assured the job could be done in that time. From the beginning, it seemed like a real rush job. After 8 solid hours, the patch to the wood floor was laid, but the wood was not level with the existing floor.
This was not one or two areas, but the whole repair (about 100 sq ft) was sitting higher than the rest of the floor. At first it didn?t seem to bother Brian because he hoped it would all settle when the glue fully dried. But it didn?t.Brian, the installer agreed that it was not a good job, and assumed it was a mill/manufacturer issue, not an installer issue. He told us he would come to replace the floor and start again for free. When we talked the next day, he argued that it would only be fair to pay him a day?s wages for his time. At that point we decided not to have him back if we were going to pay any more money (his daily wages were a lot). For a guy who has been installing wood floors for 20 years to have so many pop ups and nicks in the wood is just unacceptable.
The repaired/patched areas are noticeably raised (edges and corners of nearly all planks) from the surrounding existing wood in many locations. Our floor has a variation of plank colors, from medium dark to very dark. There was no attention paid to that, which resulted in very dark clusters when everything else in the existing areas were fairly dispersed. Why would you group all the dark together in one area? That, aside from being a poor installation and leaving a chip in the existing plank (which is lighter) calls even more attention to the entrance of the guest corridor and the other mistakes. At this point we decided to live with it until we can find a proper installer, but we simply do not and would never recommend Ready Crew to anyone.

Bryan, is the best hardwood floor guy I have ever come in contact with.. I had a few spots in my handscraped hardwood floor that had been terribly damaged by a couch leg, a large piece was missing. I also had some scratches that he fixed. II can not even tell where the damage was! He also repaired 4 more areas of the floor that had been damaged by air fresheners that had been plugged in upside down, just a big mess. He fixed very quickly and again I can not tell the difference between the undamaged floor and damaged part of floor. Since he did such a great job on the floors I asked him if he could stay and fix a few other things and spruce the house up for the holidays.
Brian is meticulous and works until he's happy with the quality of his work, which is outstanding.
